I guess you could look at it that way. You could also look at it as an assist in your read of what's happening. We were debating this just yesterday. It's not serious.

To be fair, this is still practice... which I haven't put much stock into for any QB.

Yea, but they get to see everything and know what they are trying to accomplish. We don't.

To be fair, this is still practice... which I haven't put much stock into for any QB.

That's weird. The coaches put a lot of stock into it.

They care about practice performance but not practice stats.

This. Every year people freak out over some guy that gets cut at the end and its always the same thing. The coaches have a far better view of what is going on then the limited view of the fans, especially when you're having to rely on practice reports from random people. We're never getting the full [picture so its not really worth getting all exercised over. The preseason games as well are just a limited snapshot of what is actually going on with these players, I'm just waiting to see how everything shakes out and hoping that they make good decisions in putting the team on its best foot possible.

Yeah, I don't think we've cut anykne who's went on to become a star. A couple guys have found spots around the league but I think we've done a good job of keeping the right guys.

Was that under us or harbaugh. It's funny cause he came to mind but I thought that was a harbaugh era one. Maybe I'm mistaken.

edit: nope, he was under kyle/Lynch, my bad. But like another poster said - If that's the worst we let go, that's pretty damn good. Lol of course he's with saleh and the jets now.
