and it was at this moment, that we knew

I'd argue the pass to TE with rusher in his face in dolphins game.

Came in cold off the bench dropping dimes against a team many had us losing to. Right off the bat showing he was HIM.

That was the play that really impressed me and made me think "what the hell is going on?!"

Same here lol

need some dam passing arm rehab news for BCB

that being said, I think he is in gator country training right now getting ready for TC...

Brocky is going to make a huge sophomore year jump in performance this year

Is Jacksonville gator country? Lol I really am not sure. Florida has so many big football programs, I'm not sure which major markets are for which programs outside of Miami. Lol

It's awesome that he is able to work on his mechanics and all that good stuff during rehab. A lot of major injuries, usually something like major shoulder surgery or an ACL prevent a player from doing that stuff all off season. So it's really cool that for as bad as an injury as Brock's was, he's really only missed team throwing sessions, and that's for just part of the off season - he still will eventually be able to participate in camp.

We've been fortunate with how his rehab has gone. It's gone smooth and he's been slightly ahead of schedule, been able to work on the playbook/motions, footwork, studying film, work with coaches and throwing motions, work with his private coaches for mechanics etc.
when purdy tossed two deep tds down the left sideline to cmc and aiyuk is when i thought oh s**t maybe he is the real deal

Was an amazing change from what we had been used to. Hopefully it continues often in 2023.

I mean he was basically exactly like Jimmy.

The play for me that solidified Purdy as "the guy" was not his greatest throw or even a TD. It was late in the game against the Commanders, we were up 30-20 with three minutes left. 4th and 3 at the Washington 11. EVERYTHING about that situation with Kyle as the head coach and play caller screamed field goal. Go up by 13, let the defense hold the lead. But, the advanced metrics say to go for it there, convert, try to score a TD, and actually WIN the game (rather than not lose). Purdy threw a laser to Kittle over the middle, complete at the 1 yard line. CMC ran it in for a TD afterwards.

To me it just felt like "the old days" with Joe and Steve. A confident QB and coach combined, in sync, playing to win. For Kyle to have the confidence in Purdy to make the right read and decision, and not embarrass him (the way Jimmy had so many times before) spoke volumes.

That was an awesome situation. Really shows how much trust kyle had in Brock very quickly. Kyle usually knows what the right play call is but doesn't always trust his QB to pull it off, that play took a ton of composure and mental fortitude.

I remember being bummed out kittle didn't score. Hahaha "damn! Could of had another tuddie!".

great play recall. Super cool moment
It's gonna be so nice seeing Purdy out in Pittsburgh when it was mostly said he wouldn't be ready as soon as the injury happened
just want a healthy QB season he needs to hold up and all of our QB'S are unknowns at this point until they can prove to staying healthy since they haven't really started a full season only exception is Darnold don't count so I hope our medical staff don't rush BROCK PURDY back too soon don't want or risking him getting reinjured and vs the Steelers vs TJ Watt our O Line gotta be on their best blocking assignments to keeping Purdy clean in the pocket
