Your whole stance has been letting Trey play and develop. Now all of a sudden the words coming out of your mouth are different because it's no longer Trey in the driver's seat.

You constantly talk out of both sides of your mouth. The right side tries to lead us to believe that you are more than fine with Brock. The left side constantly shows us that's not truly the case.

It's what you do. I promise you no one is looking for the gotcha moments. We don't need to. You serving up on a silver platter on the daily. You have essentially been called out for similar things by umpteen posters here. Not just me and faithful.

As for talking about the poster and not the post. TBF faithful literally asked you about a portion of your post. Me, not so much. I read your post then seen you get called out AGAIN

Yeah because I do NOT think kyle is gonna let any of them play through bad play. That's my opinion based of how this team goes. IF it was about developing and letting them play through it, Lance would have played year 1. It's clearly not. If Brock or whomever is stinking it up….they will get benched. That's what YOU ALL have been preaching!

If that bothers both you, tough tits. Faithful goes out of way to diminish anything I say because he either doesn't like me or can't stand that I can be objective about something he can't be. I called him about about flip flopping all the time…now he tried to twist a stance I made lol… It's ridiculous, ya'll are like a bunch of teenage girls on FB. I'm not about that s**t…the QB threads rarely provide anything of real football substance. It's just s**tting on each other and pretending to be smarter than the next guy. f**king leave me out of that crap going forward.

The offense is so heavy in scripting, I don't know how "bad" a series of games a QB could have.

I don't think we could see young Alex Smith level bad from a QB that knows the system. Even Nick Mullins had games that looked Dan Marino-ish.

We all know why and how the offense breaks down, and 99% of the time is going to be o-line, o-line, and o-line.

If Brock had a truly bad couple of games due to QB error, the dude is going to get yanked.

I really think there is a "floor" to how bad a knowledgeable QB can look here, under this coach.

Turnovers and missed reads.

Yeah but as I said earlier Kyle is loyal to whoever he makes the starter. He's not gonna allow there to be QB controversy during the season

Well I kinda disagree there. The QB room is a little different than it was in the past.

preach!!!!
Cowboys had a top 2 defense. But it sure wasn't #1

I keep seeing people say top 2, top 3, etc.

Under what metric were the Cowboys a top defense last year? Not points or yards given up. So what then?

Football outsiders had them as #2 overall DVOA

You're free to have that opinion. I think Brock is as entrenched as the starting QB as Jimmy was after he finished the season after we traded for him.

He's right the QB room is different, especially in comparison to last season. That fact doesn't help his argument.

If there was an established QB on the bench that we know could put us in position to compete, like we had with Jimmy last season, the likelihood Brock would be benched due to poor play would be higher. Until Trey or Sam demonstrate otherwise, it's lower.

I get his argument cause the potential with Trey is captivating. But the saying for coaches is potential gets you fired. I'm truly just hoping whoever our number 2 QB is that they are rocking a baseball cap all season

Well hopefully we don't go down that road again.

He's not the same as Jimmy he just plays in the same system. And in year 1 played it better than a seasoned vet that's gotta give you some optimism.

I hope we do tbh.. if BP wants to have us up 10 in the NFC Champ and or SB I would take it and roll with whatever came next

I think he is more like Jimmy than others are willing to admit. He got away with a ton of dropped INTs and missed reads that still worked out. It was for sure more good than bad. Personally I can't count on insane TD% and great TD/INT ratio just yet. That's just me.

When was Jimmy top 10 in a NFCC or SB?

Oh trust me I get it. Difference is I trust that more than a dude who hasn't played competitive football in 4 years.
