disclaimer- I do not follow this clown. It Popped up on my timeline.

I wonder if ppl will rush in with the "aha, definitive future claims" accusation

It's absurd to conclude that Brock can't be elite. Will he? Who knows. He certainly has the mental makeup to be one.

Yes, a typical terrible Grant contribution.

As if BP being QB1, takes development of TL off the table. It doesn't. He gets both sides of his equation wrong.

Exhibit A, anyone?

In what case?

If Brock's arm is healthy, he is the starter.

You're replying for the sake of replying,...as that's clearly not what the OP said.

Says the guy who posted "Exhibit A, anyone?".

lol

Yes...."Exhibit A" as in referring to our resident Charles Barkley.

Ignore the 100's of times I guess wrong and look at the 10 times it seems I was right.

But Kol,...Let it go man. He's gone.

Given the latest news,...he may even be back.

For now,...we have 2 young, talented kids taking a run at this.

As of now, neither kid half-a$$ their offseasons, disappear on the team, or have major letdowns.

It's a time to Be happy.

Because some don't understand what makes a great qb. They think you have to have some elite physical height, cannon, and run fast. If you don't have that, you're "limited". Lol it's hysterical and complete non sense.

you can name a ton of guys who've become great but lack that. Brady and Montana for starters. Lol Brady was a laughing stock physically for ever. His arm was good but not great. Dude couldn't run to save his life. Montana was more mobile than people think, before he broke his back. Lol but nothing special.

The mind, heart, and instincts etc have to be right. Then if you're physically good enough, you're good. Look at Bree's for Christ sake. Lol

of course it would be better if Purdy had all that but isn't necessary.

correct, Brock doesn't have to be elite. He just doesn't have to be the weak leak on the team like years past

Everyone just wants that unicorn. Brady, Montana, and even Peyton to an extent didn't necessarily have the all the desired measurables like elite speed and a cannon arm, but they more than made up for it with intelligence, instincts and what have you. People are looking for that QB who does have those elite measurables combined with the smarts.

IMO, that unicorn is Patrick Mahomes. So everyone is trying to find that Mahomes clone. But he is a 1 of 1, and people trying to find the next one is a likely a fools errand.

Yeah, Mahommes is special but there has only been one in nfl history for a reason. Lol I'll take another montana or so.

What I'm saying though is that you can be elite without it. Being elite isn't determined by how strong your arm is or how fast you are. Lol
If Purdy is healthy and our Week 1 starter I would like to see how he plays this year with even more added pressure. Last year when our qbs went down I would assume most ppl didn't expect much out of the last pick and no pressure from other qbs to challenge his spot. 7 Weeks later hes playing great and you know how that season ended. This year everyone is expecting him to play well from the get go, but now we have a healthy Trey and even Darnold lol waiting in the wings.
He has been throwing every other day starting Monday... need a Friday BCB rehab update tomorrow

Todays the day! Hopefully if his right arm is a little fatigued, he uses his left! 😈

Lol at Cohn who has been all over BCB's jock and down on Trey. Yet here we are....

Get those clicks, kid.

Yeah, he just does whatever is controversial. It's his business strategy.

That's interesting because the only time I've seen him post something even remotely positive about Brock is when he's disparaging Jimmy lol

He's been hyping up Lance train since joining he team, but once again might have been due to his hatred for Jimmy lol

but like I said before, I don't follow he guy. Only basing it on what's popped up on my timeline.

I do find that his views align with some niners fans sentiments on the QB situation. Which to your point, it might be all for clicks.

From what I gather, it's always about narratives with him. Hated Jimmy, Dislikes Kyle (using Lance situation and lack of development as a chance to take shots at him), Thinks Brock is meh (because he views him as slight upgrade over Jimmy, and thought Jimmy sucked so...) when you read his tweets knowing that, then it all becomes clear lol

Can't believe this still needs to be said
