Brock is qb1 to me, sorry lol. I am up for seeing what the others do though. Should be interesting. The only thing that concerns me about Brock is re-injury. Other than that, 100% ballin'.

Ahhhh good point nice catch!!!! His dads old team!!!

Yeah, he wears 13 because of his idol - Marino. I think he was originally 14 when he was first here but took 13 when he made the team.

his first game, dolphins games, Marino was there watching too.

He's had one (throwing) session thus far and we're incredibly encouraged by that," Lynch said on SiriusXM NFL Radio this morning. "He's hitting all his marks and that doesn't surprise us, because he's putting in all the work.

"As for best-case scenario, we'll take it as it comes. The hope is he's ready for training camp. The hope is he's ready for the regular season," Lynch added.

The 49ers reconvened Tuesday for their second week of organized team activities, which is presumably when Purdy was cleared to throw a football for the first time; that session was closed to the media, which will be allowed back on the field for today's session.

Training camp will begin in roughly two months, and the regular-season opener is Sept. 10 at the Pittsburgh Steelers.

i don't think people realize he will be taking reps in camp. Possibly from the start. To be 7+ weeks into throwing rehab by the time it starts, he will have a lot of his strength back. More than enough take reps, just how many is the question. I estimate that he will be at least 80% back by the time camp starts

Great news! Sounds like he should be 100% full-go for day 1 of training camp (assuming he wants it enough and puts in the work).

The full go part is where my uncertainty is. I feel like he will be limited. Maybe him and Lance will split first team reps? I think it just depends on how mich he's able to throw. Like how many passes will the doctor say is healthy for him to do before he may start overusing it. Idk the answer but it's interesting to me.

overall, I don't think he's going to miss as much camp as we originally thought. Which is great.

purdy and Lance splitting first team reps would be a great gauge for where both are at.

Battle of the arm fatigue?

I've always viewed this situation as a win-win.

If Purdy is healthy all year... that's a great "problem" to have in regards to Trey.

Lol I always thought the arm fatigue things was something made up by journalist that didn't like Lance. I didn't know it was a real thing. Sounds like he's fixed that with his new throwing motion and mechanics - which is awesome.

idk if it'll be darnold or Lance, but I expect them to take some of the load off Purdy early in camp. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch.

also, I feel bad for them cause they're playing our defense. Lol we have to remember that when they're having rough days and when they have Great days. Overall, reps against our defense are high quality reps. Better than what most teams offenses see during camp
Great to hear that the DarGOATs backup is progressing well.

I doubt it. They said 3 months of throwing rehab. Then team reps

Hitting all the marks is 3 months of light throwing. So probably 1 week of actual reps. I doubt he's starting week 1
