Right, but as I mentioned in a previous post - you seem to value physical traits over mental. I think that in life, in general, it's the mind that prevails over physical. Every single time.specifically when you're talking about thing such as QBs
you have to be able to see and think your way out instead of physically way your out. It's great minds that accomplish tbings. Not great bodies, most of the time.
No. I think you need both…we're not talking about the mental stuff right now.
Like I said you can be Colt McCoy and seen more football then anyone, understand every coverage and make the correct reads all day…it's the NFL and you're playing against the best of the best who are all elite athletes with elite skill sets. Only 32 starting QBs in the league and a good % aren't very good.
brock will have to depend on the mental stuff because he does lack in arm talent, like I said more anticipation throws and he has to be elite with the accuracy…can he do that long-term? We will see.
See I don't think colt mccoy had ALL the mental stuff. I think few QBs do. You can have experience and it won't mean anything if you don't have the proper fixings mentally.
do I think Brock has the unique mixture? Yes. Did I think Jimmy did initially, yes. Jimmy proved me wrong and I improved upon that. I want to see more of Brock before I 1000% commit to him. He showed what you want to see though in his small sample size.
What I'm saying is you can have all the physical attributes but not the mental, and you're useless/mediocre. You can have half of the mental attributes/half the physical stuff and be solid.
You can have all the great mental stuff and half the physical stuff and be an all time great. I just believe the mental stuff outweighs the physical by and large.
physical stuff only means something if you have the mental stuff right. What is the mental stuff? Who knows, no one has been able to measure it. Which makes it so hard to find.
i just think my formula is much more accurate towards a great qb than your formula. Not that you're dumb or don't know what you're talking about, just different perspectives. I like your input. It challenges me
