He'll have at least one of those miscues per game if not more... sweet dreams Purdy, goodnight sweet prince
I thought Spencer BARF_ord actually played pretty well. He didn't have his usual single handedly blow up the game mental lapse. Dare I say he actually played well for his standards. His pass blocking looked pretty good and he looked borderline athletic out there. Still don't trust him. But think he had a good game in preseason game 2.

He's not going to get the gig unless he can do it ... and he should be a LOT better with a game plan and starters next to him. Never thought he flat sucked, but he's never been better than average. The drop from Trent to him is always going to be big.

I'm still hoping he becomes solid depth. Though BARF is an accurate name until he puts something spectacular that will make me momentarily forget the missed assignment in the SuperBowl.
I hope S.B gets it going this year, he would really help us if he has taken a step forward.
He's on the injury list. Did you guys see him in the game?
Burfords up for this game. Do we see him at Left Guard?

I'd be surprised if he wasn't. More xp than Connor and probably the better option right now.

I've always felt bad for Burford messing up in that Super Bowl. He's always been a great run blocker .

Hope everyone can stay healthy. This is probably the best possible lineup we have for the OL.

Agreed
BARF is playing pretty good ball. He's pancaking people out there in space. Playing pretty well in pass blocking and not making the mental errors. Actually looks pretty athletic running around. Maybe one of the biggest improvements I've seen in a long time from any player at any position. It's amazing really. I almost can't believe it.
