True, but the Saints have had to play half their season without their starting QB, so I don't know if we can complain too much. If this team fails to make the playoffs, they have no one to blame but themselves.

Wow! those stats are dang impressive.

I must say, I was impressed with Mills. They might have their franchise Qb already.

I looked into him a bit during the Trey draft frenzy. He's a bit like Jimmy, kind of injury prone ( think) he missed a lot of games in college, if I recall correctly.

He made our secondary look bad. I think he's got a future as a starter for them.

In our defense, everybody makes our secondary look bad.

Norman needs to be ditched as soon as Eman returns. I'm fine rolling with Eman and Ambry Thomas. Ambry is playing much better, so much more so that teams are not targeting him anymore and prefer going after Josh Slowman. We don't need Pro Bowl corners, just average corners. Eman and Thomas give us that.

I used to be one of those people, but I no longer believe we can win with this roster. If we don't make the playoffs, it will be deserved. The pass rush is weaker than expected and the corner play has been trash. If we had an offense that could score tit for tat with high-powered offenses, I would be more confident.

I'm all for letting Trey start next game. Nothing to lose unless you enjoy getting bounced out of the playoffs early.

Our D line played great yesterday, especially in the 2nd half. They were all ove rMills. My only concern is for the 2nd straight week, Bosa was controlled. No sacks.

Some of the early losses were similar gut punches. The 49ers should have won against Green Bay. The 49ers should have beaten Seattle. Twice. Win any one of those three games and the playoff ticket has been punched.

Part of this is on Garoppolo. He simply did not play well during stretches of some games. Part of it can be placed on the defense. The unit, as a whole, collapsed at points in some games. Fred Warner has not had his best season. Dre Greenlaw hasn't been around. Bosa has been good, but the team never really did find an answer for the missing Dee Ford.

As for the Titans game, yes, that's another gut punch the 49ers should have won. If this team goes down to defeat next weekend, classify this season as would have, could have and should hvae.
