RG and no that's not Chris Jones… preseason we got to see plenty of Banks. It wasn't pretty

his PFF PBLK score from that game was ZERO lol I don't even know how that's possible.

That lost rep right there was the same s**t he did vs the Jags week 10 lol. trash.

Dude fact. I'm not saying Lakin was a legit pro-bowler but he's a whole hell of a lot better than that s**t show we're seeing. We got a rookie QB who isn't gonna just come in and slice up coverages. Instead of spending a little bit of money on some proven vets to protect him you're gonna toss him behind a makeshift OL. It's gonna be a problem.

I still think the DL will be good, just not as good without DJ. You can rotate dudes and have a good DL roster. Can't do that s**t at OL. You NEED legit starters.

Posts in this thread are quite a continuum covering anything from 2022 being a disaster to we're going to the superbowl with unproven players at multiple positions. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle and we end up having a bumpty ride around .500 next year trying for a wild card spot at best. I'm looking forward to 2023 when Jimmy is off the books and we can handle the offseason much more efficiently with a year under his belt of Lance learning behind center.

Brees' injury was a rotator cuff injury, which was much more serious than Jimmy's capsule injury - so says the articles (no link) that I read. Defer to the Doc's on the board if I'm wrong.

Point is, even when Brees was injured, he had value. Jimmy's injury isn't as serious as Drew's was, and he'll be throwing in about 4 months. Easier to trade him then when he can throw vs now when nothing is certain. Plenty of time to trade Jimmy, and I am still confident in his value (even with a shoulder operation) can generate a trade around draft time. No need to panic and outright cut him right now.

The goal IMO should be to put Lance in the best position to grow and develop this upcoming yr. IF he can play well and improve we will win a ton of games. SF is making that s**t extremely hard by not improve the very thing he needs right now. The OL is NOT better, not even close. The WR room isn't vastly better at all. They lost some good starters on defense and haven't replaced them with much of anything.

You've defended shanalynch. Now you're angry? We had Tom Compton and brunkill out of position last year, as well as an old center who was getting smoked as well. Ot will be worse next year. This isn't a Jimmy thing, this is a shanalynch thing.

Obviously you have passion but let's get real right? I mean we have Trent Freakin Williams. He's quite possibly the best LT in the game. We invested in McGlinchey a first rounder and people like to clown on the guy but in a contract year with Trent that gives us bookend tackles. We are paying a ton of money for these guys.

We have a vet center who handles his business. And Brunskill who handles Aaron Donald. You could probably find posts of yourself praising Banks as a prospect. Stop making it out to be something it isn't.

Guys, you missed or ignored my previous post. Iamontb is not talking about Jimmy's value. He is talking about trading for a replacement for an injured QB. You and others on here seem to think that its an option to trade Jimmy to a team who experiences an injury loss to their QB1.

Again I will ask you....why is this a realistic scenario when historically it doesnt happen? QB1s get hurt all the time. If this was a realistic option, shouldnt there be a lot of examples of it happening? I have posted multiple times and no one has been able to come up with 1 example.
