I find it funny that the fans have convinced themselves that there's no market for Jimmy.

Someone show me concrete proof that that is the case. Someone prove to me that it's not shanalynch not yet ready to ship off Jimmy, and that they still may have some trepidation starting trey this year, and that it would take a hefty haul for the niners to Part ways with him. I mean, I said it before, schefter called it a month ago. It seems like the entire fan base and most of the media is in denial that this could be what is actually going on.
