I know everyone is gonna be like, "WE'R GoING To DESTOY JAXSOnVILLe, DERP!", but they are playing better even if it hasn't translated to a lot of wins. Short week, cross country flight, the Jags can run the ball, that's the one thing they do well. Comparing the last 4 games for both teams (2-2 record each) Jax has ironically been better defensively. The 49ers are terrible ATS under Shanahan. The common denominator of all these upsets this year, is the home underdog winning.

I expect the 49ers to win, just saying.

Did you notice that stat they put up about Deebo. He leads the league in YAC. He averages 9.5 yards after the catch. Number 2 is 6.8 yards after the catch. That's a huge gap for an average. The announcer was amazed at that number saying that it basically means he's a first down every time he catches the ball. Where would this team be without him, especially since Kittle has been slowed.

he had that 80 yard RAC against the Bears that skews the numbers into ridiculous territory (3rd and 20 screen pass)

but even if you discount that Deebo is generally a RAC monster

If u take out that one play he still averages 8.3 yards after the catch. I just looked at his numbers this year and he has 460 YBC and 519 YAC. 979 yards with 8 games to go. 870 yards and he sets a new 49er single season record for yardage.
We can see how penalties had been killing drives through the losing streaks. Prime example was last night when they were driving to put the game away, but a couple of penalties had them out of the red zone, almost out of fiel goal range. Lucky Gould made good a 50+ yarder

Philly catch before the half.
Detroit duck that he caught from Jimmy for aTD.

this isn't an anomaly my friend. he truly is a YAC monster.

If Kyle calls the game according to his team's strengths we will continue to win. If he tries to get cute and abandon his bread and butter (eg run) we can expect games like AZ and Ind.

Run HEAVY to set up the pass NOT the other way around Kyle !

this team just needs to play more constantly week in, week out. We need to crush the Jags.

Him and Jeff Wilson were both bringing it as blockers. On the plays where Deebo carried, Wilson acted like a FB.

Jennings doesn't offer much as a pass-catcher, but the kid can absolutely beast out there as a blocker.
