Considering all the doomsday folks who thought we would get torched yesterday because of our "dire situation at CB" this isn't a big deal.

Any update on this?
I didn't even know he got hurt until I heard Shanahans phone call yesterday listing him on the injury list.

Good news is, Shanahan didn't list him on the injury report in yesterdays meeting.

That is great news. After the two penalties (a sticky tack as they could get) I thought dude played a great game. Hopefully another week of practice has him even better. Any word on Mosley?

I didn't see anything other than him listed with Sermon and Kinlaw as limited in practice.

No lie, Josh was impressive. I had no idea if he was washed up, used up, slowed down or whatever. But he played really well and stuck to his man like glue. Admittedly a couple times it may have been a tad too close…but….

He was rated better than Sherman last year. I think he still has a season or two left. We got lucky IMO to find him in F/A considering what was available.

He chose us, he had other options.

The penalties called on Norman would bot have been called in years past. He had solid technique and blanketed the receiver. It's a strong possibility he could be our best cover in short order.

Back when Josh was in the draft, i really wanted him for the 9ers. But we went otherwise. To get him now and see he still has "IT", is just incredible. Really glad to see him on the field…in red and gold.

It looks like he's not washed which is good but we have 4 years of evidence to suggest he's an average to below average player at this stage of his career. Hopefully our pass rush combined with his veteran instincts will lead to a decent season.

Well, to be fair, lot of corners will look like they lost, "it" when they have less of a pass rush. The DL that Nkrman had when he was balling, was sooooo good.
He went to WAS and didn't have near the same DL and looked average.
When MIN's pass rush was superb, Xavier Rhodes was one of the best corners in the league, then he just was average.
Courtlenad Finegan was meh for a couple years, then Haynesworth emerged and Tennesee's DL started pressuring qb's like crazy and Finegan made 2 straight pro bowls and was one of the better corners, then dropped off again when Haynesworth signed with WAS
