He was one of those unsung players whose name you'd hear every so often and immediately think about the good memories from his time as a niner. I remember him well, particularly the catch 2 game.

49 is really early to go. Some people live 40 more years. This is sad.

I always thought they underutilized him. RIP GC. Hopefully it wasn't CTE in light of what happened to Sherm today. Most players have such a short career and they do wind up broken men for the most part.
