Breaks my heart that if Young is in, Lenoir is out :(. An elite edge > a solid to good corner, but I wish we could hold onto these guys. I'm more okay with letting Banks walk because with so few holes, it might mean we are drafting IOL earlier (like we did with Banks).

As much as I like Lenoir, there is always a good chance we have to let him go when his contract expires. The Kyle/Lynch strategy is to resign A caliber players and let the others go. We have Chase Young, Aiyuk, Hufanga, and Brock lining up for big contracts in the next few seasons. Lenoir is likely not going to be a priority to retain.

I think if the Young trade never happened, he's here. I will say this, even if we keep Chase, its only short term. Maybe a backloated deal for Lenoir? I suppose it all depends on what he could command. I can see him commanding a deal that would net us a 4th or 5th. I just hope we have some slam dunks with draft picks in 2024.

Was better this week. Perhaps nickel is his home. We will see. Outside is not.

I agree. I feel like teams are not really trying on pick on Lenoir. I don't have the stats but I feel like teams have thrown similar number of passes to Mooney compared to Lenoir.
