Hes had streaks of where hes played well, agree with hope he plays like this the rest of the playoffs.

He definitely played better than Mooney this game.

Besides Evans and Godwin

Or AJ Brown and Devonta Smith?

Or Chase and Higgins.

Hopefully this muffles the D Mo slander for a little bit.

His "bad play" has been excessively exaggerated. Every time his name was brought up during the broadcast on Saturday, they would touch on how he has been the weak link and how teams pick on him in coverage, but not once did they bring up any stats to back that... Although they did mention that he is kind of the fall guy because the defense is so good.

I was starting to feel bad for the guy.

Change the narrative, have another game this week young man.

He may not be a bad player, but he is the weakest link in our defense, and offensive coordinators are not dumb. They will construct an entire game plan around exploiting him. So it makes sense that he would give up lots of passes. Some of the best DBs never get balls thrown in their direction at all. I'm glad he had a good game. It's too soon to crown him, but I hope he keeps making progress. On the downside, Charvarius Ward had an off game. Let's home he gets beter too.

Yeah, he's not bad, but if I had a choice between attacking the two Wards and Lenoir... I'd go after Lenoir.

All in all though, I feel much better with our secondary than where we were last year. Last year, we had Josh Norman and guys off the street... QB's literally just threw it up, and those guys would just panic and commit Defensive Pass Interference.

This year, Lenoir is at least in usually in position and has a chance to at least contest the ball. He's also making some nice tackles in the run game, so he's doing a solid job stepping into the CB2 role when Moseley went down.
I'm starting to really like DeMo

He seems to be more confident in himself in the playoffs than he was in the regular season. That's what I call stepping up!!!!
I feel good about the 3 outside corners, assuming we have Mosely next year. Need to bring in one vet and draft one.
He is actually solid in many games this season.

But he still need to work on defending the deep routes.
I can't believe how much better he's playing. It's kind of amazing. He's being more aggressive. Which can sometimes get you burned too. But he's not just sitting back and making passes happen. He's challenging them. So that's good.

any suspicions that QBs will not be throwing in his direction as much now that he has interceptions in 2 games in a row

IDK but if he gets another pick on Sunday, we should honor his nickname in the thread title.

Wow, that's a stretch to compare those two plays…
He's a solid CB2 next to Ward. We played some of the best offenses in the playoffs and he was very solid.

Yeah it was dope to see him come into his own as the season progressed and the stakes got higher. Keep ballin' young man
