I still think it's rediculous that Trey has to split reps with Darnold. So what happens in week 2 of camp? Some days Trey only gets 4 or 5 throws? That's stupid.

a lot do feel like Lombardi has been anti Lance, which I like Lombardi and just feel like he is more even keel. Isn't letting himself get too excited with off season stuff until he sees it in action. To each their own though, everyone sees it different

Yeah, Kyle said it's still being worked out. They'll split second team reps when Brock is there. Then the days that Brock is recovering, either darnold/Lance will split reps with the 1s or one guy will get all of them and then the other the next time Brock is out.

Nothing ridiculous about this. Trey hasn't shown Kyle that he is better than Darnold.

Preseason is gonna be pretty darn interesting if you ask me; seeing how these QBs look out there
wonder if BP will get any preseason, who knows?

David is speaking something that's as obvious as "Oh look the sun came out this morning"
Lombardi is getting petty to the point that he's becoming as biased as Cohn but trying to be more discreet about it(and failing)
Often a player change the mechanics in the off-season, it works in practice, but once in real game situation, the mechanic goes back to what it was before the change. So until you see Trey on the field in game day, you never know this mechanic tweak is going to hold up or not. There was nothing toxic about what David said.

We already know who Sam Darnold is. He's not magically going to be a better play in year 6 . Trey on the other hand needs as many reps as possible due to his inexperience. Shutting him down some days makes no sense at all.
