Especially when I compare Amrstead and Bucks numbers and what we were told.

You do know it wasn't just about how much they both got paid right ?

If they could have got a first round pick for Armstead, Buckner would still be here

Actually the only reason why we didn't sign Buck had more to do with the contract being cap-friendly. From my conversations with AB it seems like the only reason why we traded Buck was for that reason. That being said I still struggle with the decision but that doesn't mean it was a terrible one. Whether or not we get a 1st round pick is immaterial; we could trade any of our best players for a first rounder and there would be a line of teams willing to take that bet (Kittle, Warner, Bosa, now Trent).

I think it was more to do with the fact Buck was against a team friendly deal, even Trent did one, I think it'd be tough to have DeFo, Kittle, Warner, Bosa, Trent, plus Deebo, Ayiuk and Dre on good sized deals. I don't see Kinlaw getting what DeFo & Jones got, I think Kinlaw will likely end up in the $15M a yr range, which if he ends up anywhere near Buck, I'll be fully over the DeFo trade, and I hated the trade at the time, I miss Buck, but I do like Javon.
Just realized Tartt is a FA. Wonder if they bring him back or are cool with Moore?

Yeah, I think with the cap going down, and as usual the Safety market is always cold, he won't get a big deal, likely a 1yr prove it deal, but honestly I'd stick with Ward & Moore for 2021, then in 2022, move on from Ward, hope Moore steps up, draft someone to play with Moore as a much younger, better Safety duo.

I heard Denver and the WFT are interested in him.

I wouldn't bother. Start rebuilding the secondary. Not a single guy that could produce some turnovers, even with a fantastic pass rush in 2019.

I'd love to draft a Safety in the mid rounds this draft, or see Jared Mayden step up, ultra versatile, can play both Safety spots, and CB. Ward's here for 2021 and that's it IMO. I love Moore, hope he can step up even more, when he was given PT he's shined, and played well.
