SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs BUFFALO BILLS - 2020 Game 12

People don't comprehend this, and then when Saleh zone blitzes, they cry about dropping a DL into coverage.

Dump Sherman please. Homeboy was in no mans land all night and was getting torched by white receivers my size. Is he high? Absolutely no place on the team for that washed up trash play. Wtf does he think he's doing, playing for Detroit?

Why bother to dump him when he's only got four games left on his contract anyway.

Good point!

The ones who never played the game stand out here just like the media heads who never played but are analysts

Eh, Mahomes, Wilson, Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Watson, Jackson, etc. Allen is top 10, not top 5.

Jackson is not better. Brady isn't any more nor is brees. Watson debatable.

Jackson is the reigning MVP. Brady and Brees are old, but have won countless playoff games. Josh Allen wasn't even playing that well the last few games until last night.
The worst part of this game was realizing the niners are mediocre. I blamed injuries at first, but they are healthier. They still got beaten down. Embarrassing, depressing, demoralizing and should be a wake up call how the 49ers are no longer elite. It will be awhile before they are relevant again.

The niners defense was built by their pass rush with the ability to get to the qb by rushing four. Bosa, Ford, and Blair were all supposed to be a big part of that this season. Those three have played zero to barely any snaps this season due to injury. Armstead showed last season he's still good on the edge at defending the run but he's a much better pass rusher on the inside. With all the injuries at de he's played primarily on the edge all season where he's least effective. When your philosophy is built around getting to the qb with your front four, dropping seven into coverage to limit big plays but you can't get consistent pressure with your front four everything suffers as a result.

We are having a historically bad level of injuries this year. Our entire D was built around the DL pass rush, and they've all been out. This team is playing without a bunch of its best players, have had COVID spread through the locker room, and are now displaced from their home stadium. WTF did you expect Monday Night?

I swear, Niner fans will find a way to get upset with the team under ANY circumstances.

This exact roster almost won the SB last year, and now we wont be relevant for a while? Give me a break.

Jimmy can actually go with Saleh

Who's gonna be our QB?

Stafford!

((I could see Darnold or a rookie though to free up that cap space))

Wentz

Nope contract is 5 times worse than Jimmy's

And he's awful and injured often. Hard pass.

Stafford awful? Look at his stats. More than respectable, and never had an offensive mind like Shanahan coaching him.

This year in 12 games he has 3200 yards and a 21:9 TD:INT ratio. That while having Matt Patricia and interim head coaches. He's passed for over 4000 yards 7 times, and not just in the Megatron years.

Oft injured? He missed 8 games last year. Before then he had 8 straight seasons of playing 16 games.

He'd be an obvious upgrade from Jimmy G, IMO. Not much older, either (he's 32 while JG is 29). The sticking point would be his contract (it would need to be reworked) and compensation in the trade (probably the 1st round pick this year).

Wrong guy.....I was talking Wentz. Would love Stafford.
