Yeah you don't like the thought of us losing. Neither do I. Normally I don't care where we draft, but next year is different as it looks like we will need a Franchise QB. We will need to be higher in draft order otherwise we will be having to trade up.

I hope we get the best draft slot possible. To not want that when we need a QB is ludicrous. Especially with the good crop coming out. But my intention of making this thread is not to sway people to want to tank. It is simply to keep track of where we rank on the draft order so people here don't have to go look it up and put together a listing.

Your focus right now is, "I hope we get the best draft slot possible." You said it. My focus is this: "At 4-4, I hope we can still make the playoffs as anything can happen by that point of the season plus you keep the locker room in a competitive, winning mindset." But that's just me, and I've had enough of the losing seasons before last year. Again, a different philosophy from yours.

Yeah, the ignore button in this forum is there for a reason I guess.

*Edit: Hearing now there's talk about possibly having four Wild Card teams due to COVID so that would be eight total playoff teams per conference.

No point in this, we have already won too much. I think the best QBs will be too far out of reach. With that said, I'm perfectly okay with taking a 2nd round prospect and letting them develop. It basically gives Jimmy one final year. But it also gives him some legit competition. He basically would have to battle it out in camp with a QB that has the talent to push him. I like Mullens and Beathard for different reasons, but neither are ever going to beat out Jimmy G in an open competition. Use the first pick on a IOL, CB, or edge and then draft a QB in the 2nd.

Damn I don't know why I am being personally attacked so much for this thread. Pretty ridiculous. Most of you guys on here are super cool guys, but damn some people on here can be really nasty people.

I enjoy statistics a lot and just trying to provide the forum with stats like this thread and the WR 2020 class thread with updated rookie rankings. I get flamed for a thread title?

Dallas is interesting to me. They honestly may not win another game this year or at worst only win 2 more. If Jerry is hell bent on not paying Dak and finds himself in position to take one of the rookie QB's...does he do it? If he does, Dak hits the market. I'm fascinated to see what happens.

Dallas is interesting to me. They honestly may not win another game this year or at worst only win 2 more. If Jerry is hell bent on not paying Dak and finds himself in position to take one of the rookie QB's...does he do it? If he does, Dak hits the market. I'm fascinated to see what happens.

I could definitely see Jerry taking a QB. I don't see them winning many more games either. I worry that by the time we end up picking, all the top 5 QBs are gone.

The NFL is looking at going to a 16 team Playoff. Can Mullens do it? I hate losing to get a better pick. I rather beat my friends teams and gloat lol
