I think Givens or Street loses a spot if Jordan makes it. Like Blair he plays 3 Technique as well as edge. Just has to stay off the PEDS!

Anyway, if Blair starts on the 53 man roster, then I can see Givens placed on the PS as one of the 4 protected players.

I'd say the 49ers have a really good back up or rotational player with Jordan. I think he was an uprade from Anthony Zettel who the 49ers had in the Super Bowl.

I wonder if Everson Griffin or Clay Matthews was on their radars as well??

Agreed. He has athletic talent and will be forgotten about in other teams schemes so hopefully he can do the occasional something. No reason to hope or expect for more.
