Not that it will happen but it sounds the 9ers are beyond pissed at this point. You never know what may happen the next few days with that bonus looming.

LOL I understand him wanting a couple extra mil in the final year but $20M+!!!? Nah. Lol this isn't going to happen and it shouldn't happen.

So wild. I love JJ but he isn't worth that and that was never going to happen. I'd offer him maybe $3M in incentives

It's funny now that it's gone on this long more and more people are coming around to what I've been saying all along. Some people here think he's far better and far more valuable to the 49ers than he is ... turns out Jennings and his agent seem to think that too.

Good WR for the 49ers ... but >$20M is NUTS.

I was hoping they could find a medium of a couple mil of incentives but what he's asking for is outrageous. You can't even have a negotiation when one guy is that far off.

I think he can get $18M, maybe 20 in FA but who's going to offer a guy who's entering 30+ a massive contract and his best season is not even 1k.

jj is an awesome option when he isn't the first option, IMO. Even though he did well for us, he wasn't eye popping as our primary target.

my feeling is that teams aren't offering much trade wise and that's why Niners say they aren't trading him. They'd trade him for the right price, for sure.

Could be a combination of the 49ers asking price and his contract demands. A team trading for him would have to meet both. Obviously not aware of who is feeding Kawakami this information but 'NFL circles' would at least imply the possibility that teams have inquired and are aware of what he's looking for.
