KJ Hill's reps were much more impressive here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Taud921TZg

Long shot to make the team no matter who it is in the 7th round, so not that big a deal. Obviously the team felt that he had a better shot to make the team than Hill. But I don't really care if the guy plays a big slot or small slot or any slot. Just give me the guy who has the most transferable NFL skills.

Thanks for Jennings link and the KJ Hill link. I had never seen Hill and he was certainly getting miles of separation. I can see why you liked him.

He and Jennings are so different though and it makes it hard to compare the two. If you want a Wes Welker kind of guy, Hill is obviously the choice. If you want a Sanu type, you obviously go for Jennings. I'm not sure one is better in their role than the other. Looked like on the routes Jennings was comfortable in, he was surprisingly crisp and generated enough space to catch the ball. JG can anticipate guys so I think it could work.

As has been stated a number of times in here. It really seems that Kyle is evolving a different (downright abusive) look on offense.

Seems to me I acknowledged the issue of size. Kittle is as much of a receiver as anyone else on the team given that he has led the club in yards and receptions for the past two years and he sets the tone for the whole offense in that regard. The issue of Taylor's availability has nothing to do with your central argument that the "current group" of receivers lack aggression and physicality. The same holds true of Hurd. The issue of availability is completely different than the point you were making in your original post. But hey, if you want to change the argument to avoid acknowledging that you were wrong that's fine.

It has everything to do with it, are you kidding me? Dude hasn't been healthy in two years. I don't care about his aggression and physicality when he's 5'7" and 160 pounds and keeps getting hurt constantly. I like Taylor but I also know that there's a better than average chance that he'll never be able to consistently stay healthy and be a contributor.

Even if you add Taylor and Hurd, Jennings still brings a higher level of physicality and aggression than any of them. Watch the guy play and how much he sought out physical contact at every opportunity, when he wasn't catching the football, he was looking to clean someone's clock. The game film makes all that pretty evident but it appears that you're just here for an all-purpose pissing contest so lets just agree to disagree.
Steal of the Draft?

Sorry, the whole point of your original post was that the current group of WR's lacked "aggression and physicality." and then you say you don't care about Taylor's aggression and physicality. You can't have it both ways. Look up availability and aggression in the dictionary. I think you'll find they have two very different meanings. The fact that Taylor was unavailable to play last season doesn't change the fact that when he does play he plays with a lot of aggression and physicality for a guy who is as small as he is.
Welcome to the practice squad, Jauan Jennings!
Watching Taylor play i never thought to myself man this guy is aggressive and physical

Guy hasn't played a down. Can't call him a steal until he shows he's a steal

Last time I checked the 49ers play football instead of running track.

I always find it funny when people on this board tell someone else to pump the brakes. A majority of the topics of discussion are hypothetical. This is a message board, what else are you supposed to do other then throw out commentary or hypothesis

Yes,...and I think it goes hand in hand with our QB's strengths. Guys that are accurate close in on quick-hitters goes hand in hand with YAC guys that have the durability to last through the punishment snap after snap,...if not too busy dishing out their own punishment like he does.
