Ya'll?
I'm not involved in whatever argument you have going on in your head with other folks that you seem to want to apply to this particular exchange.
I do find it odd that you immediately jumped to the conclusion you did without citing context in the whole BA fiasco.
As if those fans inclined to be offended by BA's shenanigans had no justifiable cause for their attitude.
Oh no, 49er fans are gonna hate him now.
Really, why? Why would JJ merit this manner of response? What has he done? Has he conducted himself like an a*****e to this point?
I seem to recall BA conducting himself like an a*****e a hell of a lot earlier in the process. Which made his detractor's ire justified.
These are two completely different instances.
It's an overall statement of what happened with BA and how angry our "fans" were/are over the thought of a player requesting a trade based on the idea of using any leverage to get paid.
Well those folks that were/are outraged over what happened with BA should better be acting the same way BECAUSE that WAS the backbone of their outrage over him. It started with wanting to be moved. There's pages of debate over it.
BA acted like an ass how? He asked to be traded and used any leverage to get paid by the team that he wanted to play for end of the day. Folks take s**t too literal and think it's all about them when it's not.
they aren't different scenarios, they should be outraged over him wanting out of being a 49er…he wants to be traded, right?? you can't be that mad over one person's actions and not the others when they're doing the same stuff.
OR we can come back to earth and realize that there's a massive difference between the business side of sports and playing the game.
