I do. My caveat with Huff was if he could play both CB and S. It was proven that he wasn't a CB.

With that said, Oakland had him out of position playing him at SS knowing his tackling was worst part of his game. After a few years of that, they moved him to FS and his 2nd year at FS he was an all pro. So like all draft picks it is about how you are used.

Cmon man, it's fine were wrong…that's all that needs to be said

I don't think he has thought this through, If he goes to the Steelers he has played in his last Super Bowl.
No way they get there with KC, Texans, Bengals, Bills, Ravens just to name a few. But least he'll get his bag. lol

A lot of Vernon's big plays were off of schemed misdirection plays. His numbers were a product of being force fed because of lack of options. Just like Eric Johnsons 82 catch year.

Vernon too was good. But not worth the #6 pick. Neither was Huff obviously but Vernon didn't even come close to "revolutionizing the TE position".

Though he came closer to "revolutionizing the TE position " than Trey came to being Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes. So I'll give him that

If I'm being honest I think it was the over the top analysis of both Trey and Vernon that made me argumentative. I didn't see either one being "that guy" but physical attributes made this forum foam at the mouth over both

They Trey Lance pick was a massive blunder. 49ers were just so desperate to move past JG. I personally didn't care for any of those QBs except Lawrence and Wilson. Wilson also a bust and Lawrence has been only ok. Just a bad year overall but we were the biggest losers given we gave up 3 1st rounders.
I don't see any real news. Unless the 9ers accepted the Steelers' offer.

Why yes yes we were.

Right now the only thing stopping that from being the worst trade ever is Deshaun Watson having Cleveland holding his beer
Soo who leaked this newest information? Inside the 49er camp, Aiyuks Camp, or the Steelers?

I liked Fields and tbh I feel like Kyle would have gotten a lot out of him (more than we have seen) I also feel if Trey didn't get hurt twice Kyle would have made him competent. I don't think either would be nearly as good as Purdy has shown. But it was a massive miss, but we get it. 90% of us knew we had to move on from JG and try something because the rest of the roster was ready.

If Kyle wants SB or bust this year I don't see how they trade Aiyuk, but I also think having Bosa and Purdy, they know they can remain competitive for another 5 years easy.

Why do you think they can get a massive haul. I see a couple posters say this but where is the value? Where are the teams beating our door down to trade for him?

If he's still "thinking" about it, then we called his bluff. Dude was using Pittsburgh as leverage. Now we have a deal in place (deal 3 mind you after NE and Cle), and he's still not sure. If I were front brass, I'd stick with 26M and let him walk. He can finish out his career with bottom feeders, but hey at least he can drive his Lambo through dreary Pittsburgh on a cold night in Nov Dec.

Aiyuk accepting would be the real news
How great is this "DEAL?" How badly are we being ripped off here?
