They should ONLY accept a trade that makes them better. If not, Aiyuk hosed them. They have no reason to bow or appease him. And even if they got Freiermuth, Pickens, and a second round pick...I still say they're not better than they are with Aiyuk.
I will say that regardless of how this shakes out...it has completely changed my perception of Aiyuk. He's a punk.
The way he acted in the days after the SB loss I knew it was a red flag. Many players (especially the young guys who don't realize there is an end) don't care about the SB, they only want the money.
I honestly think looking back he showed his self centered side after I think after I think his first 1000 yard season. He made that look at me post on social media with a sarcastic comment about how he did that being the third or fourth option on the team. There's a ton of guys who would have not even mentioned it, or credited God, coaches, teammates, hard work, etc. Looking back, it just seems like a "look at me look at me" kind of self hype attitude.
And don't get me completely wrong. BA has played hard and played well since then. But if he wants to go to an organization that has been running in place since the hey day of Big Ben, not really getting any worse but definitely not getting any better and probably the weakest team in their division with a cooked quarterback and another the Bears gave up on then he can be Tomlin's Antonio Brown 2.0 right down to the drama and self centered attitude. He isn't remotely that bad yet but it took the other AB time to get that bad as well.
