Accepted the niners offer

Changed his mind after st browns contract

holds in

demands trade

rejects one trade partner

rejects a second trade partner

demands from us what a third trade partner offered him

threatens to hold out and not play

this dude has some real intelligent people in his ear 🤣🤣 I wish he would sign, but the petty side of me wants to see him continue to sabotage his own career. I think he's a strong candidate for regression, toxicity, and casual approach to the game this year if he remains on our roster.

If I were shannalynch I'd block that number and prepare for life without him. Wait for him to fall off the books and call it done. I'm being petty, obviously, but we've already seen this story play out so many times. No reason to think BA isn't going the route of AB.

this entire post is fantasy based on social media posts we have no idea are true

And show the world that Leveon Bell isn't the only idiot to ever do it

Trent Williams?

True. Probably a little different with skill players though.
Dude is a good wr, but proving to be a dumbass otherwise.

if I'm Lynch I lay down the hammer now. This dips**t took everything public, reneged on a deal, turned two trades down etc etc. I give him a week to mull it over otherwise he's a Niner for 3 more years via tags.

Excellent post and I choose the 2nd half! I can't stand players that act like this……assuming it's all true lol. f**k this clown already. It's so freaking hilarious how this dips**t thinks he has the say/power/leverage/etc… in all this.

If he ends up signing at our price I'll forgive him lol

That isn't a twitter account I trust but even so, if that is true, he really needs to surround himself with people who will give him better advice.

If he doesn't want to play on the 5th year option then he can sit out for 6 games or whatever it is. He will lose tons of $$$ in fines and then when the season is done, his value won't be as high as it is now because he will be slow to get worked back into the offense and his overall impact/statistics will be limited. He won't be worth even $26M/year next year at this time.

He has absolutely EVERYTHING to lose if he sits out the 6 games this year.

Once again, you guys have this backwards. To accrue a season, he needs to be on the roster for 6 regular season games, meaning he can sit out 11. If he plays 6 of 18 weeks at $14.1m, he will earn $4.7m, and cost us that.

I don't have a problem with that. We save money, and he still has to come back for crunch time and the playoffs. We're still going to tag him next year and go from there. And he's still on a contract year so he can't dog it.

Don't add a dime to your offer Lynch. And he'll sign it. Otherwise, he's Antonio Bryant.
This guy keeps making mistake after mistake.
I never before heard of a player requesting a trade because of money but only choosing 1 team he is willing to go to. If he wants out because of money he should have alot more than 1 team on his list. When a player gives his team limited options it's usually because the team wants to trade him and needs that player to waive his no trade clause. So the player says "Ok i will waive it but I only have one of these limited teams I will waive my no trade clause for"

But in this case it's the player who requested the trade. So why is he not giving the Niners more trade options if he wants out?

That's why I said "or whatever it is." Everything else in my post is the unfortunate reality for him. He has a lot to lose if he sits out. He would have to be absolutely lights out in the final 6 games and playoffs (which is unlikely because he will have to be worked back in) to come close to the 26M/year he is being offered now. He would also lose that 9.4M.

If Pittsburgh doesn't give a fair trade offer, just sit his ass down and hold him hostage. He will have to come to his senses and sign the contract.

Hopefully that 9.4M could be used toward swinging a trade deadline deal if he decides to sit out.

I think the 49ers will offer him a little more money to save face for everyone but I would call him on his bluff, keep their current offer and let him sit out if he doesn't like that. Both side's know that if BA actually holds out, he will be doing more damage to his career and not make nearly the same amount when contracts are offered to him next year. That is, if the 49ers release him because that 5th year will just transfer to 2025 if he doesn't play.

I agree with your post, and wasn't being critical. That being able to sit out only 6 games has been mentioned a number of times on this thread, and I'm just trying to set the record straight, again.

In Kyle's brief statements, he has used the word personnal several times. Given what's happened, I just can't help suspect Aiyuk's problem is with Kyle, as Kyle shut him down early in his career. It did seem to turn him around, but I've never heard Aiyuk say that that was on me. jmo.
