We can miss him all we want, but BA won't miss SF. BA didn't want to be a 49er.

He's gonna miss being involved in the offense. 😂😂
Imagine going from playing on a stacked roster with an offensive-minded head coach to catching balls from Fields and Russ and having to play within the confines of Arthur "Mr. Nepotism" Smith's scheme. Oh, and the AFC is a bloodbath, no less.

She gone yet?

Yeah once this trade goes through I'll have fun keeping tabs on BA laughing as he becomes the focus of defenses predicating coverages towards him and watch as he becomes an above average WR. Meanwhile Deebo, Kittle and CMC get a few extra touches a game.
Sad to see him go if that's what happens.

Hope we get something decent in return, but not optimistic for the short term (that is, probably Draft picks rather than a quality Player who can help this season).

Feels like we are going to get screwed on this Trade like we did with TO.

always gonna get screwed in a forced trade scenario

Yeah, but technically they're weren't forced. He's under contract. For whatever that's worth….apparently not much

teams generally don't keep players that don't want to be there. B.A forced the trade by saying trade me as well as by saying I want what i'm worth, not what your willing to give me.

I can't blame Aiyuk if that's his position. You should be paid for what you are worth. But as an employee you are paid for what the positon is worth, not *your* worth. Unfortunately for the 49ers the WR market exploded on them. Not their fault. I still think there is a chance to retain Aiyuk, but it's clear he wants more money and my optimism is really low now on keeping him - considering the current WR market. I still have hope though.

The market determines the players worth, but we are dealing with humans not computers so it is what it is. I do blame the 49ers for not knowing what was coming, the NFL is a business not a guessing game. We supposedly over paid Kap & Jimmy G because we knew the QB market would explode and those deals would look like steals, so we can't now turn around and say they didn't know. WE reset the RB market by extending CMC, so our front office are not victims here.

Now I wonder what this means for Trent? Without him we are just a regular team.

We will see. We didn't have to trade him. We could force him to play for $14M this year. There's no reason for us to take a bad deal.

Issue is how motivated will he be being forced to play for a paltry 14 mill
Can Pearsall switch his # to 11 when this diva leaves?

That Steelers division alone is gonna be a nightmare

Hope so

Pearsall better not suck

With our 1st round history he's probably gonna suck and be off the team by year 3. Luckily Cowing will be a top 10 receiver by then.

would look a lot better than 14. lol and then he would be 11, which would make him twice as good as deebo since he's 1. it's perfect math and logical.
