The Niners most likely have a trade proposal to the Steelers and are waiting for the Steelers to accept. Makes no sense to make the Steelers keep submitting stuff that gets turned down.
Niners give them the "buy it now" price and that's it. If they don't want BA enough - the Niners hold on to him. It's not complicated.

In Pickems defense I would act out too if Turbitsky or Adolf was my QB. That defense alone led them to the playoffs. Offense was hot garbage

In all fairness to the front office, they gave CMC a raise (well deserved and more important). Trent is asking for more, again more important and Brock is due next year. They cant justify giving BA 30 per. If the reports are true and the really offered 26, I think that's more than fair. I just wish winning was worth something, these days it's not.

Aiyuk was good under our offensive system, but I have a feeling you guys are about to see a major drop off on how good he really is.
Hes nowhere close to the talents of AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, or Jamarr Chase…
With that said, this is a big blow to our receiving corps. We need a true receiver to compliment Deebo, who is a hybrid RB/WR. I can only think of getting Pickens in return as a possible option…
