Brandon Aiyuk is a Quitter! Pick #25, 2020 NFL Draft

Listening to Matt Maiocco's podcast he still semi predicted that he resigns. 49ers called Aiyuk's bluff. He probably never really wanted to leave and now that he's faced with the prospect of actually leaving he's going to reconsider his position. SF will make some small concession to make the deal more palatable for the Aiyuk camp so they can feel like they saved face and hopefully that's how this ends.

Tell BA to go home and enjoy the season from the couch.

I think the niners hoped for the best and prepared for the worst. They wanted to keep him but not overpay him. They prepared by signing Kennings to a one year extension and drafting Pearsall. It's still not over as Ayuk has to agree to terms with other team. If he becomes a diva and wants to much the niners still maintain his rights and ability to franchise tag him. A last ditch option would be for the niners to sign him to a mini deal that pays him more in 2024 and takes away franchise tag option . Either way it takes a willing player . The Niners have agreed to trade compensation from two teams and I predict Ayuk and his camp will not sign with them.

you clearly follow me and what I say…just waiting to find a gotcha moment (still think you get off on that s**t, you do it with other people in here)….per usual you like to leave out those important parts of the conversation ☕️ 🐸

Does the last week of July count? I mean you have been saying this since then. Jamal Adams trade count?

The Seahawks will send safety Bradley McDougald, first-round picks in 2021 and 2022 and a third-round pick in 2021 to New York in exchange for Adams and the Jets' fourth-round pick in 2022. The deal is pending physicals.

What important parts am I leaving out?

It's not that I look for the gotcha moments it's that you post your absolutes umpteen times a day. It's hard not to know what your stance is. Then I watch you move the goal posts. I just find it funny.
49ers put this out knowing BA won't accept either offer. It puts more stress on BA and other clubs.

Okay let's say the Pats put Bourne on the market for trade by himself…what would people offer? A conditional 6th or 7th?

what the f**k are we doing?!

Cooper is better no doubt, but on the open market he went for a 5th/6th 3 years ago lol. You can't tell me his trade value improves after yrs of play.

Whatever with the 2nd rd pick s**t. We have no idea of what it's value is and SF will likely draft Drake Jackson 2.0 all over again.

dude, what a bunch pussies.

Did they not offer BA 26 million? So you would pay him to be the highest WR in the NFL even though he clearly is not in the top 5 or even top 10

You think he's asking for more money than JJ? He said he wants what ASB got. Saying he's clearly not in the top 10 is a subjective take and according to coaches/FO personnel who were asked he was.

Huh… maybe it's just delusional optimism on my part but this latest tweet by Schefter screams "the 49ers are calling his bluff."
I feel like BA can be if not already "special". I would much rather have BA over Deebo at this stage of their careers....trade Deebo first.

Then there is Laremy Tunsil

September 1, 2019

Miami Dolphins make trade with Texans

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have acquired a 2020 first-round pick, a 2021 first-round pick, a 2021 second-round pick, cornerback Johnson Bademosi and tackle Julien Davenport from the Houston Texans in exchange for tackle Laremy Tunsil, wide receiver Kenny Stills, a 2020 fourth-round pick and a 2021 sixth-round

And
Jadeveon Clowney also September 1st 2019

In exchange for Clowney, the Seahawks are sending the Texans two players, Jacob Martin and Barkevious Mingo, and a 2020 third-round pick.

The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Clowney is the second defensive end with a Pro-Bowl résumé that the Seahawks have added in 2019, joining Ziggy Ansah, who was signed as a free agent in May.

🤣 🤣 you're telling me Bradley Mc whomever is a legit player lol??? Dude played in NJ for one yr and hasn't been in the league since 2021. Played on 6 different teams. Dude had next to no influence on that trade.

Yeah I'm sure the actual trade wasn't the multiple 1st rd picks.

what a reach 😆 try again…I'm not saying it will NEVER happen, I'm saying it almost never does. Same with your want of Baker. Rookies don't get moved a couple months after they've been traded

I read it as, ok Brandon. Go talk to other teams.....so he can see that it's probably not realistic a team would offer enough to the 49ers. Also that even though they may pay you a bit more look at the franchise youre actually going to etc. essentially calling his bluff while showing him their own offer isn't bad.

It doesn't have to be one or the other. We can have both, just Aiyuk wants more than we are willing to pay. I think Deebo is extremely important to this offense - especially when he's in great shape like he is.

I think aiyuks situation has more to do with us being able to pay demo, ward, Brock etc

Again it never f**king happens. You got two trades from 5 yrs ago and it's not legit good players for legit good players imo.

We got people in here saying oh give us Terry for BA, cooper for BA, Adams for BA, watt for BA etc etc.

this isn't fantasy football. It hardly ever happens. The proof is you having of scan the internet to find a couple trades over the course of 5+ years and those weren't even trades that were based around the players. The meat and potato of those deals was the draft picks. Always is.

for the record I'm not saying it will never ever happen. It might happen with BA. It just never really does happen.
I don't see how a trade at this point would make sense for anybody....unless one side is willing to take a hit. The 49ers should be asking for (far) more than they should get for a legit top 20 receiver, simply because they are in the drivers seat with Aiyuk....and he and the rest of the league knows it. Without knowing what actually was offered in terms of contract #'s, it's hard to come to any conclusion, but BA has looked like the loser in this scenario. To this point anyways.

I still believe he'll be a Niner this year.
No trade is going to happen, but it sure would be nice to get the Pat's '25 1st rounder which could easily be the 1st overall
