My understanding is Sneed was on other teams top WRs this year. Not McDuffie.

this is from the season, from Chiefs news: Sneed's ability to limit an offense's No. 1 receiver is one of the biggest reasons that opposing quarterbacks can't get into a rhythm.

Either way, both of those dudes are really good, so we're just splitting hairs.

I'm not about moving really really good young homegrown talent. BA's best years are ahead. He does everything you want and never gets hurt.

now with that said would you move him for the Jets pick at 10? LV's pick at 13?

I don't want low end 1st rd picks. Dude is a stud and should be the future of the team. Not Deebo or Kittle at this point.

thoughts on what it would take you to move him?

The only reason I'd move Aiyuk is if he wants more than JJefferson and/or Lamb. His salary should slot in just beneath those guys.

I don't move him. This team is getting long in the tooth. We see rookies like Kinlaw and Lance that do nothing. Even one that hits, like BA, was in the doghouse for a year or two. So it may be 2026, until you get ROI. On a win now club. That sounds stupid. I would move Deebo. Deebo is a drag on our drop back game. He doesn't get open. It really sucks that we have only 1 WR who gets open routinely. That makes life for Brock a lil tougher than it could be. We want 2-3 WRs who can cook their matchup and give an advantage. That's when you become unstoppable. How do you blitz, if our WRs are winning and getting open quickly, all over the field? Let's get a true slot WR, with short area quickness and hands.

This. I expect a deal done unless he is being unrealistic. Also, even at 10 or 13 they most likely miss out on the top WR's even worth that gamble.

Sauce Gardener stated that Aiyuk was open a lot and did not get the ball thrown his way (round about way to what he said) I thought to myself this was the best year Aiyuk has had has 49er by far and Brock was the one getting him the ball.

Was this a slight at Brock or a compliment to Aiyuk?

I think it's a compliment to Aiyuk and also the 49er offense with its many guys that deserve to get the ball more.

Whether or not Sauce meant this, I think it's a testament to what appeared to be Kyle's gameplan of forcing the ball to Deebo

Yeah if he's looking for $30M per good luck

I would hope that wouldn't be the plan again (draft his replacement with the pick) that should be OT without question…or move down to recoup even more picks.

Gotta question how much he's truly watched. He said he makes contested catches but Aiyuk doesn't really go up and take it from guys. There's the Pat P play, but the ball was so well timed PP never got eyes on it, and it was so accurate Aiyuk literally just stood there and the ball fell in his lap lol

I had doubts that Sauce was watching extensive film of a player he's never gone against, but when he said you can just throw it up to Aiyuk I knew he was talking out of his ass

For sure I hated that move with Kinlaw. Just take BPA right? but moving up and down isn't a bad idea either since imo the more bodies you can throw at the o line, d line, secondary etc increases the chances of hitting. We have a lot of picks already so that's a start.

I cant see them trading BA though unless there's stuff going on we have no idea about.

Moving Deebo this yr is not an option. Not with what we're at with cap space and the amount of dead money involved. I mean Deebo is still Deebo. KC just had legit man cover DBs that can tackle. That s**t doesn't grow on trees.

I also think Deebo was hurt in the SB, pulled up with the hammy early. That's also another issue with him as well.

IMO they extension BA, save $10.3M with the extension and run it back with both guys for one more year. Deebo gets moved next yr when it makes more sense and BA contract basically replaces Deebo's in 2025.

If the OL took care of business we wouldn't be having these convos
