We really need to find a way to resign BA. He's gonna cost a lot, but man is he on the same page as Purdy and it's a beautiful thing to watch.
If he is about every dollar, he is gone. If he is about "right around top dollar" and staying with a contender they have a chance to retain him.

I don't see BA as a diva type. He comes off as a nose to the grindstone team player. Now that he has built a rapport with Purdy and is being featured in Shanahan's offense, I don't think he has a reason to leave. I don't think he will demand a ridiculous contract and I don't see us low balling him. The FO knows what BA means to this offense.

I think that's wishful thinking. BA will absolutely demand an exorbitant contract. IMO, top 5 WR money. He's worth it and continues to earn it every Sunday. He knows his production is limited by the scheme and style of offense, and his agent will make sure to emphasize that during negotiations. Also, every great WR has some "diva' tendencies, and BA is no different. Dude was visibly upset last year and literally punched the air and threw up his hands in multiple times over Jimmy.

Aiyuk has 320 yards and 2 TD's after 4 games. He actually really sat 1 out because of injury. So it's really just 3 games. For NFL statistics are all games across the whole year. Whether you played in it or not. Which may be unfortunate but it's the reality.
17 game projection. Possibly a little different because he missed one game. That could change the calculation. He may or may not miss more.
1,360 yards. 9 TD's.

when rubber meets the road, we can trade Deebo and pay BA
Gray in the pipeline, and draft another round 1-3 guy, KS can groom WRs, this is proven

Personally, I think Deebo is more important in this offense than Aiyuk. Deebo is CMC 2.0 and a beast in the run game as well as the passing game (as a YAC) monster. Kyle's offense, keep in mind, is a run first offense and Deebo is *both a WR and RB* and backs up CMC so defenses can't key on CMC the way the Patriots did against *The Greatest Turd's on Turf offense* in the Super Bowl. I agree with AB81 - 49ers are racking their brains on finding ways to keep him, and I believe they will be able to keep him because Purdy is not costing them a boatload of money right now.

$24m-$25m a yr is where I have him right now.

I think Aiyuk is better than Deebo. He's never had a QB that will gun the ball down the field deep. Jimmy never made throws past 12-15 yards in the air.
