Wouldn't it be more beneficial to get him done with 1 year left? He's proven himself. and I know that's how the chiefs did Mahomes. they extended him earlier and can manage his cap hits better. Hope they do the same with Brock.

Posters have been talking about him getting open and not getting the ball for years....

Pretty clear BA is probably better then the opportunity he has had on the 49ers.

Now, that is correcting itself....infact....The passing offense looked Broken when he went down, that is the first thing in a long time that reminded me of Jerry Rice going down. What use to work, no longer worked without Jerry.

Lord knows what BA could do if he was stuck at Flanker full time and motioned all over the field to dictate his match ups.

If Kittle and CMC prove to be reliable and healthy, I would probably try to package Deebo and draft capital to snag a promising 0-lineman or CB, and in the future get the cash to BA if it came down to Deebo or BA. Hopefully it never comes to something like that.

I would do it, but this regime doesn't extend players with more than 1yr left, I hate it, but I get it, Bosa was always getting top defensive money, now we have him thru 2028, instead of 2027 had we did his deal last year, BA will be thru 2027 or 2029 depending on length of extension. But I do wish they'd extend BA now. I wouldn't mind some smaller extensions, Burks would be a good one, McCloud too.

Imagine the bag someone will give BA if he hits FA LOL. Either way, he's going to be a very rich man soon.

He ain't reaching UFA, even if he isn't extended next year, which IMO he will be, they can tag him twice, he should be a 49er long term, he even said he wants to be a 49er long term, he & Deebo are like legit best friends off the field, so no jealousy there, Deebo & BA are team players.

Yeah, i dont see Kyle letting Ayiuk go. No chance. If it does become a problem in terms of the salary cap and what he demands, I think they free up more money for him by trading other players before they let him walk. Ayiuk is the Julio Jones of this offense. It is a very important role and he plays it well. You cant just go out and find a top 10 WR that plays that role perfectly like Ayiuk.
