IF they were to trade a WR, for me I'd prefer it to be Deebo if I had to choose between the two. Deebo's got that diva in him, Aiyuk seems like he's a team guy.

Where has anyone seen diva in deebo? In contract talks trying to get his paycheck? Well it isn't as big of an issue with BA because he already got a bag, and has a 5th year that will double his career earnings.

He came in camp not in peak conditioning? after an injury that effected his ability to work out. Or is it his body has changed so much because his roles have shifted and calls for adjustments?

I think it comes from 9moon calling him 'Deevah', other forum members read it, then make that association. When I think diva WR, I think of a WR that complains about not being targeted enough, whether the team is winning or not - the WR needs to get his numbers. Even then, a WR wanting to get targeted isn't a bad thing, it's just how visible to the outside world are they making it. Throwing a tantrum on the sideline is diva behavior, as is complaining to the media. I don't remember Deebo ever doing either.
Contract talks are contract talks, every good player is going to play hardball, that's not what I think of when I think diva football player.

Correct. I don't think Deebo is a diva either. In fact, I think he's one of those who get affected the most emotionally because he can't stand losing. We should actually feel fortunate he belongs to our side. Remember when he literally asked for the football and ran it for a touchdown. I actually watched that part of the game over and over.

All you need to know about that poster is a WR who earned the nickname Deebo for being a bad a$$ being called a deevah. There have been sh*tty nicknames in the past from the webzone but calling the toughest WR in the NFL a diva is as headstart as it gets. Still dont understand the infatuation with trying to give people nicknames. The only one even worthwhile from this forum was Dante "Cat Lady" Pettis and that was said in jest and later tried to get ripped off by the same poster obsessed with nicknames.

I feel Nicknames are shortened versions of names, especially 3 or 4 syllable names. people confuse for what i think are titles.

The Bus. Megatron. Sweetness. Things earned over a career.

TO is all 3. Shortened, title, and insulting.

So what? He is an elite playmaker. His only knock is health. I love Aiyuk, but to this point in their careers, Deebo has been the better football player.

Lol right. Let's ignore when Deebo was converted to a RB when he was on pace to have a monster year at receiver. I want none of that context b******t

Seriously!!!! Do people forget he was leading everyone in the league at different points that monster season IN A RUNNING OFFENSE. If he had more targets he could of shattered the ALL TIME RECEIVING YARDS per season record. He was certainly on pace for the first half of the season. Still led the league in YPC, destroyed Kupp's YPC and so many other "elite" wrs.

Not counting his game changing returns as well. Aiyuk was trash at it

That's really interesting. I didn't know that, receiving wise.

when you factor in rushing though:
Deebo since 2020:
Rushing yards: 623
Rushing touchdowns: 11

bringing Deebos total contribution since 2020 to:
Total yards: 3,051
Total touchdowns: 20

i love both of them and would like to keep them both. They're both excellent run blockers too. Deebo is the better all around football player/threat and Aiyuk is the more refined WR.

It's like we have 2 really good football players and should be grateful rather than trying to take shots at the guy who used the only leverage a player has to get a contract he desired. Can't wait for this forum to turn on Aiyuk when he uses the exact same playbook
