Well, that's all well and good - I just don't want my starting WR returning kicks. What if he gets hurt - then everyone will be b***hing about letting him return punts. We need him healthy for our offense.

John Taylor was returning kicks in the SB....I think he set a record for longest return in that game against the Bengals. Worked out OK.

But....I get it. I'm tired of seeing everybody get hurt this year.

s**t I'm gonna actually agree with Sus, I'm not a fan of having Aiyuk return Punts, I hope they draft someone or sign someone who is dynamic at both Kicks and Punt returns, I'm sick of James and Taylor.
Too valuable to keep using on returns. It was Hester's main job. We dont want this kid broken in half when he could better use his time splitting defenses.

Don't want him anywhere near returning kicks/punts.

I understand That, especially with our luck regarding Injuries.
They should only use Aiyuk on punt and kickoff returns when they need a big return. For instance, time is running out and they need good field position.

He should be the full time PR
You don't want to see your #1 WR returning punts. There are many other WRs and even other positions you can pull one from.

Sure I do. Nobody is better than him at it. HR threat on every single return. Barring elite WRs from returning punts when they're the best option is 80s football mentality. Might as well give him a neck roll.

Playmakers need to make plays. Scared money don't make none.

I swear we drafted Reed to be the PUNT returner... and I also remember that at one time, we couldn't decide who was the best at returning punt.. was it Pettis - Reed - Trent or Richie...

damnn, if I'm not mistaken, we haven't returned a punt for a TD since Ginn did it against Seattle..

I'd still not what him to return. Too, much of a risk for me.

Yes! Need playmakers to get the ball as often as possible.
