Nah, most of us aren't buying that, nor are we buying that "his feelings were hurt because fans were mean to him". The guy acted like he was above the team, so fans will naturally bash the guy. Putting a player down after injury, however, is unacceptable.

Putting aside the low-life trolls, there are generally people calling for accountability, and then there's whatever Afrikan is saying. People are not keen to consider Aiyuk's side of the story, when everything he has said since the negotiations indicates that he is selfish, childish and hyper-obsessed with materialistic things above being a part of the team and culture.

And that has nothing to do with race. Sorry, man.

I don't know how you got to that but..

Haha I should have checked before engaging ya. Curious who's alt you're using. But peace ✌🏾. Same old same old.

I used to post a lot under a similar username about 10 years ago until my account got deactivated for lack of activity.

You're the one who keeps bringing race into it. Or delves into fans' "emotional states" and "self-hatred confusion" when all we're doing is discussing how Aiyuk has been a s**tty teammate.

Also, is that really your response to what I said? That you should've checked how long I've been here before engaging me? Weak sauce. lol.
i liked Aiyuk when we got him. He was a little immature and got in the doghouse.
He didn't seem like a diva. He became a real good player and even did the dirty work like blocking,
He wasn't a top WR in the league but deserved a real good contract.

people always talk about players getting into trouble with the crowd they hang around with. I think the women they choose are worse.
I think it could be her filling his head with these ideas where you should be paid the best and get the ball all the time. it's based on some things I had her say in some previous interviews or articles. WR's are going to want the ball and be paid though. We like to run here and throw to who is the open guy is on a play.
We likely need to just keep turning the position over for young guys.
I don't hate Aiyuk but certainly people can be pissed off he didn't say he didn't' want to be here so we could trade him. We lost picks and wasted money.
Now, he's done with us. He won't come back to rebuild his worth to where we could trade him and he'd still get paid.
Now we will have to cut him with a June 1st designation.
Use his cap money on Linderbaum to help the OL and get a WR like Piece or Dobbs.

Ok it's real simple.. prove to everyone you're legit. It's been 10 years. Where have you been posting about the 9ers these past few years? You don't have to get into the other years.

OR did you ALL OF THE SUDDEN on OCT 31 2025 decide NOW... NOW is the time I start discussing 9er topics again.... not in the beginning of the 2025 season... but half-way through the season in 2025, 10 years since you left? lol 🤷🏾‍♂

They can be pissed… as they clearly are… but it would be a product of bias and not necessarily something inherently wrong with Aiyuk as a player or person.

How would I even prove that? LOL. I remember having 10,000+ posts as "Niner4life21" (no underscore), so I guess you could say I was a regular poster. Haven't been posting anywhere else. Seldomly on the 49ers reddit page the last couple years.

Also, wouldn't any given date be considered "all of a sudden"?

Yeah, I joined halfway through this season because the season got far too interesting for me to not engage and I started having hope again (dangit). Is there some rule that a fan must register at a specific time?

I find it hilarious that you're shocked someone can take extended time away from a fan forum. Life happens. While I enjoyed being a silent visitor, I really started to miss why I liked posting here in the first place : ) It's the best 49er fan forum, no contest.

Cool what was your handle on Reddit? I just want to make sure it's worth my time explaining anything to you, especially when you jump to conclusions (preconceived notions). There have been many trolls who have been here over the years. Create new accounts...etc.

The bigger question is how is any of this relevant to the original discussion between the two of you

Idk. Someone questioning the specifics of my account history because I called them out for making the Aiyuk discussion about race.

It's not (as you know).

I tend to agree with some of what Afrikan is saying here, not including any of the race-related implications. This is just what he does sometimes. Best to just ignore it and stick to the actual topic.

Yep I'm well aware of it,but obviously atleast one person sees it differently.
So to explain some of my posts, or the things you pointed out...

as far as "innocent", I'm not saying Aiyuk is innocent... but I just don't think folks should lose their s**t when we don't know everything. Have a personal hatred to Aiyuk for being a "thief" or some other bad stuff that has been said about him since his injury or what has happened recently.

As far as me mentioning "black/african". You asked me if I thought he was a victim. I responded how I view certain things. If it were true that Aiyuk did something that voided his contract, even if other players were not held to the same standard, then I don't view him or anyone similar as a victim. You worry about yourself, you cover your ass. But I also understand if he felt some kind of way, if he were treated differently than other players. I can understand his right to approach it how he wants to, as long as he can live with what the future might hold. And I think he can.
