Nevada doesn't have state taxes either. Think that helps the Raiders?

Yes

Yes it would.

$120 million contract.

13.3% highest rate in CA. 0% in Nevada.

$120,000,000 * .133 = $15,960,000

$15,960,000 more in Nevada on that contract. That's quite a lot.

That's not entirely correct. Stater tax is based on adjusted gross income after federal taxes (37%() and other deductions are taken out. The 13.3% wouldn't be calculated on the enitre gross salary. Still his net income would be 13.3 % higher.

Not to mention the cost of nearly everything in California is the highest in the nation.

Can't blame him for wanting to move his $ out of that state.

Just my opinion but I would be more concerned about the quality of life than the money if I was making that much. He'll make more than he needs to live a lifesytle unlike any of us will ever see no matter where he plays. How much different will his life be with an extra 13% or whatevewr it ends up being? Las Vega is a s**thole and the Raiders are a terrible organization.

Some are, some are not. It seems t me that the better the team, the easier/more enjoyable the job is. I will never forgt Davante Adams in an NFL mic'ed up saying he has never been hit so many times in his life (catching passes from Jimmy G). Inferior QBs throw more hospital balls, put you in harms way more, cause you to need to make more circus catches, etc. Days drag longer and seem less meaningful. I will never understand it.

I'd also you have more money making opportunities post career when you play for winning organizations. I don't know of high profile media jobs available for people that were apart of losing organizations or public speaking opportunities for corporations, etc. But whatever, to each its own.
Yeah not everyone actually wants to live in the Midwest, particularly young/rich athletes. Many people are speaking from their own perspective ("why give up this $$ in taxes?!") which there's nothing wrong with having that personal preference, but forgetting that the player may not want to live in Cleveland vs Los Angeles over that $
Him and Jennings for JJettas from the vikings
From Lynch's presser it sure seems now that resigning and not trading Aiyuk was a huge mistake. We can't have these types of attitude on this team. As an organization the team must get what they've paid for and when we don't it's a bad deal. Brandon Aiyuk is a bad deal and we need to salvage it as best we can. Glad his guarantees have been voided because up to this point we've wasted time and money on him and he's a bad businessman. He got the money so he should be providing the services and as he is not we have to find a better business partner

With all due respect, to use a French word, garbage. Is Matt Stafford an "inferior QB?" How many hits does Puka Nacua take? How beat up does Puka get? The NFL is a dirty business. If you play the game, you are going to take shots. Multiple. Every game. Every season. That is the job. Do you hear Puka complaining? Nope. That dude has to be the most abused receiver in today's game. Yet, he keeps coming back for more.

I cannot understand why Aiyuk is still on the roster. He's a head case. If he isn't going to play, the 49ers should just release him. Let him go elsewhere. Be a head case for someone else. Right now he is just on distraction. The 49ers don't need a head case. Roll with the receivers who want to be here, who want to play. Receivers who will sacrifice life and limb to catch a Brock Purdy pass.
Yes, they are setting it up for a release since there is no way Aiyuk will risk injury without guarantees. He is basically in a free agent year since he knows the 49ers will trade him or release him, with a trade being a longshot.

i have no issue keeping BA on the roster. I don't think he's much of a distraction because he isnt showing up. Plus there is a small chance we can trade him for a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and recoup some more $$$

BA probably wants to be released. I'd keep him on the roster just in spite.

We will keep him then try to trade him and if no one wants to trade for him we will keep him beyond the draft and recoup every penny we can and then designate him as a post June 1 release and then he can go scramble to get on whatever team that will have him at a rate they choose to pay him

We will do him no favors and we will treat him exactly as he deserves to be treated and allow his financial adviser and agent to see exactly what type of idiot client he is dealing with

Yes we wasted two years of money on him but that will be remedied going forward and now he's excommunicado
This organization really gave a $125+ million contract to a guy and then did everything they could to piss him off and make him not want to play for them. Not smart.

What did they do to piss him off
Honest question - What is it about WR that makes them the biggest divas and headcases??? I'm sure people will tell me it's not only WR, but seriously.
Rice - even early in his years he acted the diva sometimes with contract disputes
TO - astounding receiver, and astounding headcase
Randy Moss - enough said
---fast forward--
Antonio Bryant - wow, complete blow-out, even with Brady trying to work with him
George Pickens - even with his current performance, Cowboys are probably leery to sign a long term deal.
And the list goes on and on.

If someone is in his ear, I want that person to suffer the most, then Brandon, then us (we're part of this tango so yes, part the blame)

I'd like for him to play if full go, but if his body isn't fully recovered, it is in his best interest not to to risk injury before released / traded

I mean, why not? I kinda agree here. But I think the dude is gone soon, certainly feels like it.

Ask him to wear the same color of shorts as the rest of his teammates for one.

That is unforgiveable, I can see where BA is coming from.

Willing to pay me 125 million AND make me wear specific shorts. The nerve of some teams.
