Purdy and Ayuik for Jefferson straight up who says no?

Me. I'm not trading Purdy. That's just dumb.

No. I would trade Mac and Yuk though
At first this whole thing made no sense to me but now it is starting to make sense. This is my guess of how it went down.

So back in July, Aiyuk does something or things in breech of his contract and gets his guarantees voided. (It seems like whatever it was, he actually did it because he isn't fighting it with the NFLPA.)

Afterwards, they still hope that he plays at some point this season. Since they are already paying him for this season and there is no risk for future years as the guarantees are now all gone.

Aiyuk gets pissed off about the voided guarantees and is no longer willing to play for the Niners. But he has to make it seem like he is not playing because he is not able to due to the injury. If not they could recoup some of this seasons money.

So all this time, Kyle doesn't know if Aiyuk is going to come back at any point in the season or not. There is still the possibility that he will want to prove to other teams that he is healthy for his next contract, when he is released after the season. That is why they have continued with this week to week thing all year, where they made it sound like he could be back soon. They honestly had no idea if he would decide to play at some point or not. And still don't. At this point he is getting released at the end of the year regardless.

This and I would argue Purdy had *a lot* to do with that elite season.

I mean, I would want him on the team if: he was more like Kittle, meaning he was a team player and not all about himself. More like Purdy, meaning he has some humility and acts like a grown ass man, and if he can produce well after the injury. But not hopeful about any of this and Kyle has expressed frustration with him. So, he can walk and continue to be wannabe TO somewhere else.
If he were to grow tf up and balled out for the team, sure would like to keep him but unfortunately, I think there is something in the water up in Ren-hole, NV lol

I would keep Purdy and Mac as there is no predicting if Purdy gets injured again. I would trade YuK and the entire Oline except Williams

You just might be right sir. We seem to be enamored with his talent but his behavior does not seem to fall in line with what we already have in the locker room. BA has expressed that he is all about himself and somehow we seem to not believe him. We need to stop seeing what we want to see and instead see what is right in front of us
Harvey Dent, can we trust him?
I don't see why it would benefit him to come back. Even if he played he's not going to light the world on fire being out for over a year so i don't think he'll recover much of his value at all. Even if he did do ok teams would want to rework that contract if they traded for him so why not just sit out, get released and go to whatever team he wants. He'll have to sign a 1 year prove it deal so that sucks for him.

I'm hoping we find out what he did during the summer to get his contract voided. And like the Locked on 49ers podcast said, is the NFLPA going to allow that to happen event though BA is cool with it.

That would be a fair trade tbph. Minnesota gets a starting QB and a potential replacement for JJ and we get a true number one receiver.
So wtf happened in July is the question. Does seem like somebody in the FO did something outside of Kyle's control. Sounds like KS still wants BA on the team.
