I mean there's really not much to any of it. JLC jumped to conclusion without doing any research. She got caught and changed the story. BA has been "participating" in SF practice…I think real issue is he can't be doing that while on IR. Hence why the reporters probably haven't seen him "out there" as much lately.

There's no story, but the fan base loves to get all hot and bothered over him. Great for engagements and rage baiting us emotional fans lol

He seems to be taking forever to get back on the field.

That was a serious injury. Multiplre torn ligaments so it's a tougher rehab. I wonder how good he'll be when he does come back. He wasn't a burner before the injury and relied more on route running to get open. It may be harder for him to run precise patterns.

It's just a non story. He didn't scrub his IG accounts again, he just hasn't been active.
That was very, very sloppy for someone as professional as JLC. Who is basically very close to the team as is Maiocco. This is the type of lazy "reporting" Id expect out of low level content creators.
BA tore his ACL on October 20th 2024 in week 7 vs the Chiefs. Niners play the Falcons this weekend in week 7, October 19th. So it's been a full calendar year which is what he heard the recovery timeline would be when he had that injury. Now usually an ACL tear is 9 months recovery, But with the extra damage done to his knee it was going to take longer. But anyways if there was no setbacks and we go by the initial timeline he shouldn't be out that much longer. Week 10 which is home vs the Rams would bring the timeline to about 13 months.

Lets hope it at least then, get healthy BA we could use the help on offense
Is there any updates on BA?

Why not shut him down for the season if we are winning without him? If he isn't 100% recovered why risk another delayed IR stint in 2026?

Nothing definitive as to timeline.

He had a major injury. It was more than just an ACL. Lots of healing and rebuilding must take place before he can play again. As of now, only BA and the docs know, and that may not be all that certain. We just sit and wait.

Honestly would rather shut him down than get high hopes that he's gonna come right in and make a difference. Come back next season when he's gone through training camp and up to speed.
