You know Haley destroyed his value before he was traded right? He literally attacked Jerry Rice and was generally out of control. Some of the Cowboys players and coaches later said they knew the stories but didn't know it would be THAT bad. Supposedly he attacked Emmitt Smith at some point and Smith broke Haley's finger intentionally to get him to stop.
Think I remember hearing from a player, Haley went ballistic destroying the locker room and smashing his head into a locker because Jerry wasn't paying Emmitt during holding out. They payed Emmit right afterwards 😂. Dude was a nut job.
Yeah, I think I heard something like that story, and he would always duck and shuffle and call Jerry "Massa". Also supposedly on his first day as a Cowboy he showed up for practice naked.
Watching the o-line committee they talked about "those kind of guys" when they were talking about Wilkins kissing a teammate ... they said you had to respect a players boundaries. I think Haley didn't give a damn, I think he was legit crazy.
