On Tuesday, offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak praised Aiyuk's dedication and involvement despite being sidelined.

"It's been awesome," Kubiak said. "He's out there every day. He's with those guys. He's very much a part of the position group, meaning he's not just isolated, doing his rehab, and then being around the building. He's in the individual drills with them. He's on the field.

"When we are in meetings, he's engaged. When we're at walkthroughs, he's with those guys. He's helping Hank (wide receivers coach Leonard Hankerson) kind of coach on the side.

I mean thats good to hear, but I feel like it's just fluff since all the backlash of his antics. Really want to see him bounce back by the end of the year not only because of his talent but it would be a huge moral boost to the other players

Kubiak is our OC, not the "PR team," but okay lol

I'm sure the PR team puts in some insight, as an organization especially the 9ers trying to establish a culture I imagine they monitor players social media. Ayuik was posting some really questionable things then all of a sudden Kubiak reached out to him. Would have meant more if Ayuik took it upon himself to get involved not that it's expected with how grueling the rehab must be. Non the less kudos to both of them. Haven't heard much of Ayuik being cryptic and telling fans to stfu since he's embraced the role. "lol"

Historically injured players just disappear. I remember back in the 90s some player saying that he figured it was because the players didn't want to be reminded of the fragility of their own careers too.

Yep. Can't just be that BA wants to be there for his guys. It's definitely more likely that the PR department reached out to Kubiak who then coerced Aiyuk into coming in, and is now also praising him for doing so
Man I feel for BA, he just can't win with some of you guys. He makes social media posts that people overblow out of proportions and he's the worst. He's out there trying to help the team even if he's not medically ready to help by playing and he's still bad.

It's time to move on from that contract dispute. It's in the past. Let's wipe the stink of last offseason/season from here and look ahead to a new season with lots of new faces and hopefully we get Aiyuk back sooner rather than later and he's able to show he was worth the contract.

Until he's officially not a 49er, everyone here should be rooting for him. Not trying to find ways to make him look bad for no reason...

People have been trying this message for a while ... some people just don't want any part of it. Just like some people seem to want players to fail and some seem to want player injuries. Maybe they just want to be "right" at some point in the future or maybe they just like hating the sports they follow?

Now you're getting it Yeah this reeks of damage control when was the last time you saw a player get hurt and they parade how he's there with the team?
How dare he…

McLaurin is turning 30 in September and will want a new contract bigger than Aiyuks...I dont think its as clear cut as some of you make it out to be
