What has Aiyuk done that's classless? Some of you take social media cryptic posts way too seriously. If he wants to mimic TO then hopefully it includes his play on the field.

BA has been posting a bunch of cryptic s**t on his YouTube account for weeks, but I don't think many people look at it. Dude even responded to one of his own posts. Something ain't right with this cat. He just comes off as disgruntled, butthurt and bipolar. He reminds me of Kanye.

Tbh, I didn't think we would ever have any distractions with Aiyuk. I always viewed him as soft spoken, hard working type dude that wouldn't put himself, or the niners, in these type of situations. The whole contract nonsense, I just chalked it up to new way of doing business. Boooy was I wrong.

Sometimes the quick fame and money gets to some people, it seems like he's fallen into that category.

I remember after they lost the SB how much he and his family were crying and acting very weird right after the game. Something about that entire scene felt so off to me I said to myself this guy has issues and his support system has issues as well.

Ppl from Reno are kinda dif, like Kap..too much time in Reno. Just something odd in the water up there. Hopefully, Chubba doesn't spend too much time there lol. I just hope BA can heal up and get back to playing like his old self as much as possible. Less TMZ vibes, more touchdowns.

Yep. Rice had similar issues around year 3-4 but without SM and just less media in general he was able to grow up and get past it without too much residue. His nickname in the team around at that time was Fifi, he says it was because of his hair, but his teammates said it was because he was precious about a bunch of things around him and he was kind of tough to deal with personally. They loved him because he worked incredibly hard, but he wasn't easy personally or with the media. It's funny because we saw the same progression with TO with the 49ers but TO didn't ever quiet down, then with the Warriors we got it with Latrell Sprewell who came in a quiet particular hard worker before he went off the rails too.

I'm getting old so maybe I just don't get this sh*t...as BA told me, I gotta post my kids and STFU lol. BUT I feel like I was one of the few who had his back during the contract talks last offseason which clearly got a lot of people upset. I'm still with the guy...but I really don't get why he's upset.

And if his posts have nothing to do with football(odd when you're posting TO) then how hard is it to ignore the reactions or I dunno...stop posting stuff that is cryptic and people can run with it in negative ways?

I saw some people talking on twitter how he doesn't feel respect. I had his back last offseason but F THAT. You got paid. If he was so upset about the SB(which I 100% understand) then don't sign the contract. Go to Pittsburgh and see how that goes.

Whatever is going on I hope he's laser focused on his rehab. The best way to earn respect is to get back on the field and prove to people you're WR1 and anyone not putting you in the top 10 WRs list is a fool.

I feel like a lot of this kind of SM behavior started with LeBron. All that really matters is that BA shows up for the team. Other than that I don't care. But then again, I'm old so it's not my scene anyhow.

This stuff makes me believe George Steinbrenner would have somehow included language to penalize for social media stupidity. If he couldn't outright ban it lol

It seems like a lot of athletes have thin skin these days. Maybe it's because of social media but they need to toughen up a little. Just ignore the comments. Many of these guys are wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. Why be concerned over something us fans say. Ignore it and do the job you're being paid millions to do.
