His teammate gets shot for his jewelry and this is what he does? BA is on some dumb chit.

I don't think B.A care what we or anyone else thinks about him. He has a strange personality/attitude.

If we get a 3rd and a 5th for Deebo Samuel and Aiyuk I'll rage. I still think Deebo was worth a 3rd, certainly a 4th. BA is young and I do not think this injury will impact him long term. Can't trade BA after giving him that contract and getting virtually no return on investment. Would be the dumbest thing

We took the best offer, in no world is Samuel worth a 3rd. He has been out of shape, ineffective, and publicly held out and requested a trade. We are lucky we got anything for him because he was on his way to cutsville.
There not going to trade yuk. All this talk is off lynches one statement which he probably would make about any player but purdy at this point.

We won't get a good enough return for the potential upside for yuk. I wouldn't trade him for less than a first or high second.

I don't see that happening from any team.

For some reason WRs seem to be trouble more than any other position. They often complain abut not getting enough targets. They complain about theplay calls. They often want more money than what they're worth based on how much they contribute to the team. They demand trades a lot. Hold out a lot. Those are all the reasons I would be reluctant to take a WR in the first round of any draft. There's a good chance that you can get a good one infree agency during most years if you want to pay the money. At least then you know what you're getting.
look at deebo could have flipped him for round 1 at one time, and we got round 5. BA would be similar he had a lot more value last offseason.

Idk, I'm reading that a $22m bonus kicks in April 1st. Not sure how that affects the cap this year but I'd trade him for a bag of practice footballs iiwm

Yuk has the potential to be a 1300-1400 yard receiver. His cap hit was already factored in last year with the purdy deal in mind. They can afford it.

There are no other receivers on the team that have proven they can run good routes consistently for purdy.

Yes he's a tier below Jefferson, Chase, lamb etc... but without any other option you kind of need to get good return or keep him. There's no guarantees even a wr taken in round 1 will get 1k yards in a season. Its probably about as likely as yuk not coming back well from his acl.

You need equal compensation and risk or better to make a trade work.

Everybody gets paid on potential and extrapolation of what you've shown. IE they are going to hope he's going to be as good or better than pre acl.

50/50 he comes back and gets 1300 receiving yards. 50% chance he has lost all speed and is relegated to a wr3-4 production for the rest of his short career

I know right. These f**kin people.
It looks like it's WR purge year in the NFC West. Niners unloading Deebo. Open to trade offers for Aiyuk. The Rams are looking to trade or releese Cooper Kupp. Now the Seahawks release Lockett and Metcalf wants a trade.

Yup. If Aiyuk leaves we better get Adams. No more of Purdy waiting for WRs to get open or separate behind a bad pass blocking OL.

The team wants to get younger and cheaper. Adams doesn't make sense even if they traded BA.

I see your point but I disagree a little depending on how much he costs. Basically we would have RP and JJ and filler. Even if we drafted a WR somewhat early the chances of him contributing right away in this offense are not great. I think we would need to bring in a veteran unless they really want to go total rebuild.
