Lynch has a big hit in every draft so far.

17- Kittle
18- Warner
19- Bosa
19- Deebo
19- Wish
20- Aiyuk
21- Hufanga
22- Purdy
23- Brown?

Wish is a "big hit?"

Hes one of the best punters in the NFL.

Says who and by what metric? Usually the best players at their positions get selected to pro bowls and all pro teams. Mitch was a pro bowl alternate once; why if he's the best?

Hey, to each their own. If you think he's one of the best that's fine. I don't and I definitely do not consider him a "big hit"

Nvm mistook you for someone else, my b

I've always looked at mid/late round picks as a crap shoot. So if you take a K, P, and they become good, it's a win.

Basically if every 10 years you spend a mid round pick on a STs guy, that's not bad at all.

Struggling again with the lack of probowls?

There's one punter for each conference in the probowl which is largely a popularity contest and the all-pro teams are mostly name recognition as well. That doesn't mean at all that he isn't ONE OF the best punters in the league.

There you are lmao.

Hopefully Mitch has a good safe house.

I mean you get popular in the NFL by being good lol. All-Pro teams are name recognition by others in the league. Again, usually your name is recognized if you are the best at your position, one would think. Seems I have touched a nerve for some of you. I'll leave it alone, a freaking Punter isn't even worth arguing over. Wish is amazing and totally worth the 4th round pick and 13 mil or whatever he got, it's not like the guy we just got off the street for a fraction of the cost is even close. Trash punts
People trash punters, but a good punter versus an average punter will probably gain you more net yards over a season than say, a second string running back, or a third string receiver. It's not sexy, but there's value there.

I think Moddy will be a hit
This is dragging on so long people aren't even talking about Aiyuk in the Aiyuk thread anymore.

If Lynch went to Jed, I gotta think a final decision is forthcoming.

Agree, the 1979 draft was better than the 1986 draft.
I get that Aiyuk just wants to get paid. However, after putting us through negotiating with 3 different teams, he's selected one that will only pay us next year in the form of draft picks, while they want Aiyuk this year. That being the case, what I don't understand is why can't we require he plays out his contract with us first? Then he can go, and we can get those same draft picks in the year we lose him.

Jed? Save us.

Personally I'm surprised he's still in negotiations. We're lucky that Brock is being paid peanuts this year. Next year when Brock gets paid, I forsee us losing a lot top flight talent. Superbowl or no Superbowl. We should have lost a ton of talent this year but so far, they were able to keep the core together for one more run.
So is his back going to magically heal once he is signed?
