Refs definitely had a role in this one

I just want refs to be consistent. If you are going to let them play and not throw flags then I'm okay with that. But if that was the case then the OPI against Kittle shouldn't have been called. I think it was OPI but then you have to call PI against the Chiefs on the pass where the defender clearly had his arms around Deewbo or Sanders, I forget which one.
Did anyone see the penalties article by Brian Witt. I know our 49ers need to overcome non-calls, but that hold against Bosa on the bomb to Hill might have been the game and it was plane as day.

Thoughts?
The lack of holding on that play will drive me nuts for a long time.
As I have said in the other thread while we had a chance to win, the refs definitely shaped the narrative.

Zero holding calls against the Chiefs. Even Joey Bosa saw the smaller bear hold from the stands on that 3-15 play.
The video clip in the article shows it was quite the bear hug and it was right in front of the ref.

That helmet to helmet and the shove oob on Jimmy gets called 11 times out of 10 if that is Brady/Brees/Rodgers/Wilson in that same situation.
I feel like the refs always help out the team that is struggling.
Stop. We didnt make enough plays. They had a few mistakes too but nothing shouldve come down to one or two calls

Next season if we make it back, Staley, Sherman and Person should cry to the media, talk about retirement, getting a win for Shanny and all the crying s**t the media likes so they'll feel sorry for us too, then get on the field and pretend to struggle. We should easily win via refs

NFL / Refs had their winner in mind before the first snap

The refs kept the game in reach for the Chiefs. That was the point.

So what? I think everyone acknowledges that we played poorly down the stretch and there were questionable coaching decisions. None of that changes the fact that we got screwed repeatedly. Call the game tight or loose, I don't care, just call it the same for both teams. We got raped, don't tell us to stop b***hing about it.
I am particularly ticked with the 3rd and 15 mugging of Bosa. That 44 yard bomb should have never counted and it would have been 3rd and 25. We would have stopped them on that and been up by 10 with less than 8 minutes to go. Do the math, that would have meant we only needed 1 first down the rest of the game and we win.

Agreed. That play changed the game and started their comeback, but it never should have happened. I was screaming at my TV because I saw it in real time, yet somehow the refs missed the obvious hold. Shameful.

Stop crying, you sounds like Saints fans.

Kyle Shanahan choked again, it's that simple.

Refs did suck. But your right it didnt cost us the game. Coaching did
