No. Losers don't get MVPs not for over 50 years.

If Mahomes put up big numbers the only way we win is if someone on our team puts up big numbers. In your scenario MVP goes to Jimmy but I don't think it's a very likely scenario.

Although honestly as long as we won the game I wouldn't give a fuk. It would just make the NFL look stupid but reinforce the point that a dominant well rounded team > one guy even in a QB driven league.

I really do think Ford is going to play the game of his life. You can't ask for a bigger chip on the shoulder than someone putting you on maximum blast during media week. One thing's for certain, the chiefs have lost a game within the game because bulletin boards are real! If I was a chiefs fan I'd be pissed dude opened his mouth.

I remember there was a push for Lebron to get it when losing to the Warriors, but that still didn't happen even with his amazing play during that series. Don't see it ever happening.
