We wear gold helmets regardless.
Besides, in stadium lighting our gold pants tend to look a weird mustard yellow. All whites FTW.
Harbaugh and Kap lost in gold pants, so they aren't magical. Go with what will charge up the players the most.

By appearance and aesthetics that is a much sharper uniform than all white. LOL. Not counting wins, losses, teams that had them or anything. It doesn't have to the the shiny metallic pants. Just regular gold is fine.
