I had a lineman on high school team I coach break a finger. He came to practice with his hand bandaged like a club. I wasn't going to let him play but he proved he could. Never got one holding call rest of season😀

If he broke it while trying to hold someone I could understand that as well. But if he couldn't hold because of the bandage he still has another hand. If he held with the other hand you could bandage that up as well. Might be an idea for the NIners if anyone gets too handy.

I taught my lineman the old school way of blocking and worked well for him. Overall we were least penalized team in the league
