Certainty casts a protective blanket over the cowardly, and the mouth is next to follow.

Never fails.

The next 5 pages of this topic will be noobs inflating their post counts with negative b******t to kiss up to the negative elite armchair debbie downers. The "yes men" wussies who use the "opinion" card will rip each other to shreds until they wake up tomorrow and return to their Death of Salesman mary martyr lives.

they are better tho, their offense is atleast 2 times better. our defense is obviously better, they deserved to win.

2x better you say? Can you explain why we had 50 more yards of offense and lost by a last second field goal on their field then please
box score

105 passing yards for LJ. It may not be this year but teams are going to start forcing him to throw.
This board is full of excuses. A soft offense with a soft finesse play caller.

Go 49ers we will get back on track with a win next week against the Saints! Go 49ers

THIS!

Saints are dead meat, Niners gonna take this loss out on them.

We didn't play our best ball, Shanny's play calling was questionable at times and JG is still gonna get criticized (rightfully so)

That being said, we added to the blueprint on how to beat Rat Birds. BB / TB are licking their chops... they fall by Patsies in playoffs

How we create a blue print to beat a team we didnt beat?
Well, sh!t...we know exactly how good we are now. There's us, the 'Hawks, and the Ravens all in the elite group. Nope, not the Pats, Packers, or Chiefs. These losses WILL make us stronger. Gotta take it to the next level of play-calling, discipline, and detail. Was worried we could be outplayed by 10+ points, but, nah, we're elite. This sets up a fantastic run of destiny for us. We'll have to beat the 'Hawks once and, hopefully, see these Ravens again at the end. Redemption on so many levels. We got this

Stop making excuses for f**king Shanahan. Running the clock down before the half being conservative, running Kittle on a jet sweep, running all day and he throws the ball on 4th and 1 in a monsoon. f**k his soft ass.

Dude calm down...everyone in here talked about running the clock down so Lamar couldn't run wild. Guess what it worked.

SF cross country, in a 1 pm game, in the pouring rain lost by a last second FG to the hottest team in football that had been crushing everyone including NE Seattle

This. Last second of the game and almost the end of overtime are our losses. Our own fans have no respect for what this team has done. Some of our greatest teams in history took Ls to inferior teams (see the 1989 49ers) or got beat pretty convincingly (1994) 49ers.

Just need to win out. That isn't a huge ask, minus Seattle in Seattle. And even with them, if we do not turn the ball over, we win.
Next time around we'll be celebrating the SB win. The defense made some adjustments in the 2nd half and held LJ and his high power offense to 3 points in the last seconds of the game.
I like coming here after we lose and reading all the whiney comments. Always lifts my spirits.

Put them all in a contained space and we have the zone.

To be fair I'm sure most fan bases are the exact same.

Yes, it does get emotionally charged following a loss. I was pretty impressed with going on the road, in the driving rain against the hottest team in the NFL and coming within 3 points of knocking them off in their own stadium and pretty much holding Lamar Jackson in check. We just need to do better on keeping drives alive. Had we had a nice long drive to close the game, we could/should have been the ones to kick that game-winning field goal.
