The current roster of wide receivers will step up when needed , once they are all healthy. Hurd won't be ready for primetime for a while.

Green) I just don't wanna mortgage our future before we've given these draftees a decent chance to show why they were drafted first.
Now, I will say that we may need to draft a WR in the 1st in the 2020 draft, and he should not be a slot-style WR either.
Trade deadline will be over before Hurd can make an impact and to expect a 3rd round Rookie who is playing s new position to step in and make a big impact is just wishful thinking.
See my response to cciowa above. It applies to you as well.
Hurd had a hairline fracture in his back. Shut him down for the season. Can't risk the kids career. Make a trade, but be reasonable.

If they can get a true #1 with a trade I am good with it. A #1 receiver would put the other guys in positions they should excel in.

This. We are a run first team and haven't really needed huge production from receivers up to this point.

Correct for the present. I do anticipate Kyle bringing more balance Between run and pass . When there is more balance, it's more difficult for defenses to stop either one.

There is no planet where can fit the cap space of a true in their prime #1 receiver even if somebody would let one go for some crazy ass reason.

Yea we need help on the outside no doubt about it. There will come a time when we are down and need to make big plays to win. It can't all be on Kittle and schemes. We need a dog at wr that will go get the ball and make plays.

I would be in at a 4th and a future pick up to a 4th depending on restructure/ resign/ playing time for A.J. Green or Emmanuel Sanders. A 5th for Sanu. Any higher and I am out. I think we would have to send a player of equal value and cap hit to do a deal for Parker and I am out on that as well.

this...why cant some of u see that..A #1 WR IS A MUST

Yeah, that is my issue with him. His measurable are great but what they will probably want and how he will likely expect to get paid just don't line up for how often he has actually ben available to play the last two years. People complain about A.J. but at least he has a history of being a very good receiver. Parker has basically the same injury history the last two years without he years and years of amazing productivity before that...all he has in his favor is being young, which might not be a good thing because people over value that.
