Just looked myself, don't see santa Clara in the zoned areas
To The Niners Faithful,
You have watched this team with hope, joy, and pure elation. The offense of a team is usually the focal point in football (offense scores points) which is exciting. But we all know defense wins championships. I'm going to quote one of the hundreds of talking heads I've been watching and listening to daily to hear about my dear Niners (my wife says at some point I'm going to need counseling): "this Niners defense is NASTY!!"
Now sit back and watch your defense do what it does best - get nasty!!
Welp,

Guess I won't be watching at home

Tomorrow's game will be a real test for us. Can't wait to see how we perform.

I think we're going to rip them a new one.

I think so too.

Our defense is going to flood the box cause there's no threat of the pass. Beat reporters see a lot of flaws we can exploit in their passing game. If we get a few short fields early and cash in, they won't be able to pass themselves back into the game. Solid win with potential for blowout.
Kyle Allen is getting through his progressions and getting the ball out quickly. Our pass rush is going to have to bring it more than ever tomorrow.
After some further consideration.

Im guessing the 49ers get 2-3 INT's in this game. I think Carolina believes in Allen to run their offense effectively and I actually believe he can, just not against this front 7.

Many pundits and analysts consider/considered McVay an offensive genius. Dude had literally no answer to this 49er front. They refused to pass especially intermediate to deep, until they absolutely needed to, to even have a chance.

If Carolina thinks they can run longer developing passing concepts and execute, they're going to find out quick there is just no time against this front and their young QB is going to get hit a lot and eventually rattled. Even if he makes the correct read and throw if he's getting hit while throwing that ball is going to be up for grabs.

CMC is great but he has to face 4 athletic and talented dlineman who are sound in their gap integrity along with 2 supremely athletic LB's who should be able to run with him if he gets space and hone in on him like missiles inside.

I don't see CMC getting many yards in the passing game either, unless he breaks off a screen once or twice. He doesn't match up as well against this front as he has against others. KW vs CMC in the slot may be something to keep an eye on though.

They have a good defense but our coach consistently finds holes and runs concepts to exploit those holes. Along with nullifying their strengths. It'll probably be ugly on offense, but I expect our defense to flummux Allen more or at least with a greater impact than Carolina's defense can flummux JG.

49ers 13 Panthers 7

33-6 49ers

Kyle Allen plays like a rookie. Kinda the same situation as Daniel Jones; looked good before teams had film on him, and started to play worse and worse as defenses adjusted. This is the game that get Cam his job back.
With all the beef and talent upfront, why dont we have a better run defense?

That's not true, Kyle Allen has been very careful with the ball and very accurate when he has passed it. That and his decision making are why the Panthers have won 4 in a row. However ha has had ball security issues when he's been sacked, but seems to have corrected those issues the last two weeks.
The "Panther fans" you heard on the podcast are what we refer to on the Carolina message board as Cam-stans. These guys have been lamenting the fact that this team is undefeated now that Newton is off the field. 0-8 in his last starts the past two seasons while Kyle Allen is 5-0 with the same team the past two seasons, so take what they say with a grain of salt.

This should be a heck of a game, The 49ers will definitely be the best defense we've faced all year, and likewise for you guys. With two evenly matched squads its going to come down to who makes the least mistakes ie turnovers. If the Panthers protect the football I think we can ride our running game and defense to victory.

Evenly matched? n***a please. It would take a offensive and defensive total meltdown for this team to lose.

Yeah, what are we like 8th in run defense? We should be better.
